AOA# 824017DOB: 8/15/200024 yrs
Aurora is a beautiful dark silver grey female of the respected Aysen Ranch. She has a wonderful personality and she is very smart. Aurora was shown only 1 time in a large class of 17 animals. She received the 2nd place ribbon as one of the youngest animals in the class and received excellent comments from the judge. Aurora is an easy keeper and a very good foundation female. She delivers healthy, quality cria every single year. Aurora's 2009 cria is a jet black female named Black Satin. Satin is full of spunk and is a delight to watch in the pasture. She has a gentle personality and is easy to work with. Satin is one of those alpacas that you see in the field and say "Wow, she's beautiful." Her fleece displays high frequency, high amplitude crimp. UPDATE 2010: Aurora gave birth to a 1/2 Accoyo female cria. The little one was born unassisted (while we were on vacation at Disney World!). She is solid white, loaded with crimp, and has a very self confident air about her. UPDATE Sept 2011: Aurora gave us a son this time; a handsome medium rose gray. His fleece is quite nice. He is the son of Snowmasss Royal Canaletto. If you like high quality black and gray alpacas, then Aurora is the alpaca for you. Thanks for looking!

Description

Charming. It's the best way to describe her. Black Satin is a sweet, inquisitive, healthy, young alpaca who has the world on a string. She is fun loving and playful and likes to initiate the ponking with all the other cria. She had wonderful conformation and a cute fuzzy face that sports a short, square muzzle. Her fleece has nice handle, though she is normally covered in hay, so it's hard to tell unless you dig a little deeper. Now that her velcro cria fleece is sheared, you'll discover it's true softness, thus the name, Black Satin. Price: $5000
