With 8 championships & 16 blue ribbons, Invasion is one of the top full Accoyo colored herdsires in the country. With 13 champion cria, it has become clear that Invasion is passing on his elite fleece characteristics to his offspring. Invasion is adding outstanding crimp, color, density, brightness & well respected lineage to his cria. As evident from his own show record, judges around the country agree that Invasion is an elite alpaca. Now statistics from his recent skin biopsy test support his caliber of fleece. In addition his first Ideuma Creek cria are doing outstanding in fleece shows. Using all of the tools available, Invasion keeps proving time & time again that he is a superior herdsire. If you're looking to add density, consider Invasion's skin biopsy report done by Ian Watt: Follicle Denisty - 65.28 Secondary:Primary Ratio 14.4 : 1 "This is a high quality male whose primary breeding objective should be to deliver elite fleece trait genetics in any breeding plan, especially where color is a consideration" - Ian Watt Invasion's cria have more than impressive results. In just three years of showing our Ideuma Creek Invasion cria, they have earned 14 championships, 5 different cria have earned the BEST BRIGHTNESS award and 3 different cria have won the BEST CRIMP award. In addition, Ideuma Creek's Bo Jangles (owned by Prairie's Edge Alpacas) just took JUDGE'S CHOICE at MOPACA! As you would expect, Invasion does not come by these elite fleece traits by chance. He is a Royal Fawn grandson. His genetics come from well respected & well tested lineages. At age 6, he still holds fantastic crimp & fineness. Invasion is passing on color as well. He has produced every color cria including BLACK as well as superior white cria. Proudly co-owned with NYALA.

Dam: Accoyo America Amazona

Full Accoyo Caligula Daughter!

Accoyo America Amazona

HuacayaBred (Female)White
AOA# 839594DOB: 6/29/200222 yrs
It isn't often that a full Accoyo Caligula daughter is offered for sale. Most of the breeders lucky enough to have one of these gals hang on to them for their foundation herd. We have two Caligula daughters, and we're willing to part with one of them, but not both. Amazona is a beautifully fleeced Accoyo bred by Greg Mecklem. Her dam is Accoyo Amada, a '98 import. She was first purchased as a yearling at the Parade of Champions sale in 2003. Greg Mecklem's comments on her are, "Amazona is a dense, very uniform daughter of Caligula. With a pleasing head and correct conformation combined with a soft handle fleece, she promises to be a high quality full Accoyo production female. Her average micron count is 20.0, with a CV of 16.9% reflecting her outstanding uniformity." Amazona has proven herself to be an excellent production female and has retained her very dense, fine fiber into her adult years. We have bred Amazona to Accoyo Stratosphere, our fawn Legacy son. Strat has an unbelievable track record for producing top-notch cria. His cria have more thatn 70 blue ribbons and more than 40 championships. We can't wait to see what Amazona will produce when bred to Strat!

Description

Accoyo Orinoco looks just like his sire, 8X Champion SA Accoyo Invasion, did when he was a juvenile. He's got stature; he's got presence; he's got attitude, and man, does he have fleece! Orinoco was named after a river, like his dam, Amazona. Now I'm going to go on and on about Orinoco's sire, but his dam is stunning. She is a product of Greg Mecklem's breeding program and was purchased by a small farm just starting up at The Parade of Champions Sale in 2003. She is a Caligula daughter and her AFD of 20 is backed by an amazing CV of only 16.9! She's VERY consistent and she's kept crimp, density and fineness throughout the years. Orinoco is the first Ideuma Creek cria out of Amazona, and we couldn't be any happier. Amazona was not shown nor were her cria shown by the farm that originally purchased her, so she doesn't have a long list of accomplishments like Invasion does, however, suffice to say, her first cria here at our farm, says it all! Accoyo Invasion, Orinoco's sire, on the other hand, does have a huge list of accolades. He's an 8X Champion with 16 Blue Ribbons and the Coveted Fleece Awards of Best Brightness and Judge's Choice. His cria have racked up 11 championships and the Fleece Awards of Best Crimp (2) and Best Brightness (3). Add Orinoco to the list of elite fleece cria Invasion has produced. Bright crimpy bundling fleece all over his neck, his tail, his legs and his blanket is so curly and brilliant we're sure he's going to win awards. The price we have listed is for full ownership, but we would consider half ownership with the right farm.
