Price just reduced! We have LOTS of this bloodline at the farm and it's time to share with someone new. Please call with serious inquiries, all reasonable offers considered! We will retain breedings. Chief is standing at stud at Endless Farms Alpacas this year. He is a Matador grandson and has coverage and LOTS of fleece! His dark silver gray mother Cherokee Lady combined with true black for generations on his sire's side let us expect true black or silver gray possibilities for his crias. 2010's crias brought a very nice rose grey (MF dam), a beautiful med/dark fawn, and two maroons (MB and MRG dams).

Lani is a medium brown "maroon" girl with black points. Her most recent cria "Cocoa" is one of the best prospect dams on our farm with grey on both sides of her pedigree and fine crimpy fleece with soft hand and consistent coverage and color. Lani's breeding to CWF Cherokee Chief produced an exceptional maroon male cria. His conformation, fleece (so far), and color will be a great addition to our breeding program. Lani sells at the listed price without her cria. "Rock and Fire" as we call him is the spitting image of mom. Add Lani's male cria (May 2010, now weaned) for $1000. Lani is bred to silver grey Kash's Rainmaker for a fall 2011 cria. His density and her fineness should produce an excellent cria. Lani's cria arrived on October 14, a strong healthy male who follows tradition with her color. He is dense and already shows crimp. His conformation is straight and square and we can't wait to see how he develops! Lani is exposed to Tomaselli for an April 2013 cria. On March 12 Lani gave birth to a TB male cria. Not sure if this is from the Tomaselli breeding or someone later. This boy is strong and active, and growing well.

Description

Rock and Fire is the spitting image of his older sister Noelani's Cup of Cocoa. Both are medium brown with black points. Rock and Fire is out of our true black Matador grandson. His status as a potential herdsire is good. We'll see how he grows up over the next year. Meanwhile, he is available. Rock is following the path of Lani's other crias and gaining status with his fiber as he grows. He is very fine with a wide and uniform crimp. Rock will be joining us in the show ring at the VAOBA EXPO in Dec 2011. He is gaining presence as well. In his group he is not the one to start trouble, but he's also not one to mess with! ARI has been submitted, waiting on lab and documentation to be complete.
