Bartleby is three-quarters Peruvian. He was born Sept 30, 2003. He is medium brown. He was brought into service in early 2006. Bartley has sired 14 crea, 12 female and two male, since 2006. At this time, only nine of his cria have been registered by the small breeders who own his offspring. Bartleby offers amazingly long, crimpy, super-fine elite fleece, with a strong boned body. His fleece is exceptionally dense as expected from his Hemingway and Snowmass pedigree. It is well bundled with defined, medium amplitude, 10 crimps per inch. He is a medium large male with a laid back nature. Bartleby is a gentleman and easy to handle, even in a breeding pen. He has an untrimmed true even bite. Bartleby now has 17 cria on the ground and 13 are female, not all registered yet * 2007 - Three female cria. * 2008 - Two female and one male cria. * 2009 - One female cria. * 2010 - Seven females and one male cria. * 2012 - One male cria. * 2013 - One male cria (two still due). Kinsey of Redwood Ridge

HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Brown
AOA# 1418293DOB: 10/9/200420 yrs
2012 Cria arrives -- May 27th - Kinsey of Redwood Ridge, birth a male cria (rose to silver gray) about 12:50 pm. The cria's birth weight was 16 lbs. The sire is Helderberg's Nevada. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kinsey was born October 20, 2004. She is medium brown. Kinsey is medium sized, a 1/2 Peruvian, 1/4 Accoyo female who is dark brown with a black face and points with very fine, long stapled, lustrous fleece. She has crimp and brightness down to her fleecy toes. Her bite is level and her conformation is correct with big, solid bone. Kinsey sports teddy bear ears with fringes and an accoyo silhouetted head. She is well socialized, she loads and leads without problem. Kinsey's 2006 fiber statistics were superlative, and they still are as of 2009; 2010 is pending. She still has exceptional fineness while improving on both her SD and CV. The picture at right does not capture the brightness and crimp of her elite fleece. However, as the fiber test tells, it is an even, high frequency, low amplitude fleece, crimped from tip to skin. At the California Classic, Kinsey's fleece was complemented by the Judge for fineness and consistency. Kinsey has produced three cria for New Moon Alpacas - NMA's Autumn Kiss (September 2007, female), Bartleby's Coquette of NMA (April 2009, female), and New Moon's Noir by Delorean (October 2010, male). She is currently open and will be bred in spring 2011. Her sire is Derwydd Peruvian Huiyari. Her sire's lineage is the import, 4Peruvian Starr Khan 6003. Kinsey's dam is Ida of Redwood Ridge. From her dam, her lineage includes Justice of Redwood Ridge, The Goldsmith HST 466, and SA Zomax.
