Minx was born January 1, 2008. She is bay black. This girl has a spectacular fleece; it was noticable at birth and is obvious now. Her crimping is very bold and even; her staple length was over an inch a birth, now over 3 inches at the start of her 3d month. Very even crimp and a 15 micron fleece with an even SD and CV of a much more mature ELETE fleece. She sheared 4 inches in April at age 4 months! Very dense and velvety to the touch. Dark animals are usually NOT as fine as whites. To have a dark animal with a starting micron of 15 is superlative. This cria has lots of presence, good clean conformation, has a level bite at this point, and is showing every indice of being an unusually fine girl. Minx has produced two cria for New Moon Alpacas - Lincoln's Stella Negra of New Moon (July 2010, female) and a dark silver gray male who died shortly after birth. Minx has been bred to Remington's Last Hurrah! for an early August 2011 cria. Her dam is Pandora of Saturn. From her dam, Minx's lineage includes the import Principe Platino 9357 IMPAC98.
