Calidad Redford is a beautifully fleeced medium fawn male out of Victor's Hemiaccoyo Elizabeth and Riddick. He is a grandson of Victor and Evander, and a great-grandson of Hemingway. Redford's sire, Riddick, is a multi-champion who took 2nd in Get of Sire at the 2009 Northeast Expo and third in Get of Sire at the Empire Alpaca Extravaganza. Redford's dam, Elizabeth, is a full sister of the well-known multi-champion Victor's Hemiaccoyo Casanova (owned by AOBA judge Diana Timmerman); Redford appears to have inherited a lot of this full uncle's beautiful fleece character and overall "look." Elizabeth has now produced three top show-quality crias in a row, each with a different sire. Judge Amanda Vandenbosch commented on his superior fleece and excellent development for his age (at seven months) when placing him second behind the reserve champion at the 2007 NECC. Redford's yearling fleece has a 7-inch (!) staple length with distinct bundling, brightness, soft handle (15.5 CV), and 8 crimps per inch from one end to the other. Just beautiful. Redford's first crias are due in early 2010.

Don't let Arabesque's low price fool you. She is an exceptional female, and I am trying to down-size in a slow economy. Covered in soft, curly fleece from head to toe, Arabesque is pure quality. She took a second place in full fleece halter at the AOBA Nationals, where she also helped her sire win second place in Get of Sire. Her two male full siblings, Xanadu P. Placido and Xanadu P. Thelonius, are currently standing stud, and both of them have won multiple color and reserve championships. Arabesque's sire is Xanadu P. Presidio, Caligula son and a 7-time Get of Sire winner, who is no longer available for outside breedings. Her dark fawn dam, 5P Henriette, has been an extraordinary producer of high-quality offspring. In 2006, she gave birth to an elite medium fawn Jericho daughter, Calidad Ambrosia, who took a first place ribbon at the AOBA nationals. Arabesque gave birth on September 2, 2007 to a white male, Calidad Tolstoy, sired by our Accoyo Leonardo. Most recently she produced a light brown female cria, Calidad Firefly, who has obvious show potential. Arabesque has been bred back to Calidad Redford, our new fawn herdsire. Redford's full uncle is none other than the remarkable Victor's HemiAccoyo Casanova, out of the Booher's prestigious breeding program at Timberland Alpacas in Oregon and owned by AOBA judge Diana Timmerman of Aussie Acres Alpacas in Colorado.
