Service Sire: VF Yahoo Too
Yahoo Too is a VERY nice herdsire with bright, crimpy golden fleece. He has good density, perfect conformation and bite. Just look at that beautiful head! He is a grandson of PPPeruvian Yupanqui and PPeruvian Felix on his sire's side. On his dam's side he is a Peruvian Snowmaster grandson.
Unfortunately, his sire, VF Yahoo, died from oleander poisoning shortly after siring this cria.
Snowmaster was sold to a farm in Australia for $250,000 several years ago where he bred up to 80 alpacas per year. Peruvian Snowmaster, the full Accoyo male has the distinction of being the only North American-born alpaca ever to be re-imported to Peru. There are very few male offspring in this country to carry on his incredible genetics.
PPPeruvian Accoyo Yupanqui (deceased), was the number one pick of the 1996 importation. He has produced multiple ribbon winners in many colors. At 11 years of age, Yupanqui's fiber analysis was 24.0; 4.6; 18.9 and 7.4 > 30 microns, with wonderful crimp and a handle comparable to many yearlings. Yupanqui was mentioned by Don Julio Barreda as being one of the premier herdsires in the entire United States. The 2007 histogram for Yahoo was quite impressive! 20.6 AFD, 4.9 SD, 23.8% CV, 3.6% > 30 microns. He has a 92.8% CF with a curve of 45.7. At 4 years old, his 2008 histogram shows that he is maintaining his fineness. 22.6 AFD, 4.9 SD, 21.7 CV, 6.5% >30.
He has amazed us with each new cria born. His first cria born on the ranch was in November 2009. This little guy is awesome. He's med brown with black muzzle and legs. The fleece is so crimped and bundled, I can't wait to get "Samson" into the showring. Samson's histogram was AFD 15.7, SD 2.7, CV 17.1, 0.6%>30. Now that's impressive!

Misty is our foundation matriarch. She has given birth to three beautiful crias, all healthy. Her fleece looks like snow when it's sheared.
