Forever Precious Autumn Jewel
Alpaca, Huacaya, Open (Female) | Medium Fawn
AOA #30910966 | DOB: 11/1/2006 (18 yrs)
Sire: McKinley's Peak
30910966<--ari-->White<--color-->3/4 Peruvian, 1/4 Chilean - McKinley's Peak is a Drambuie Grandson. Drambuie now resides in Australia where he has sired several hundred ribbon winning offspring. I've heard it said that an Australian breeder once confided to Drambuie's current owners, "We think that was the Yank's biggest mistake - letting him leave the USA! He is a national treasure down under!" McKinley possesses some great fleece qualities from his grandsire and sheared 9 pounds of fleece this past spring at almost 5 years of age. His fleece is very dense and lustrous with plenty of crimp, luster, and brightness. We ran a micron check on him this spring at 6 years old he has a average micron count of 28. McKinley produced two nice females for us. Forever Precious Autumn Jewel and Forever Precious Amethyst. Both are beautiful fawn girls with VERY dense crimpy soft fleece. <--description-->
Dam: Forever Precious Summer Jewel
30910966<--ari-->Medium Fawn<--color-->1/2 Peruvian, 1/2 Chilean - "Summer" is almost a carbon copy of her dam, Topaz. Many, over the years, have fallen in love with Topaz because of her outgoing calm nature. Like her dam, "Summer" has a calm, sweet disposition. This girl has a soft dense fleece with deep crimp and phenomenal luster. She also has great comformation and a good bite. She has the presence of her sire, Peruvian Virtual Vicuna, and she has inherited a calm temperament from both her sire and dam, you couldn't ask for more. Summer's first cria was a beautiful medium fawn vicuna patterned female cria out of McKinley's Peak, a Drambuie grandson. The birth was picture perfect with no problems. Her first cria was named Forever Precious Autumn Jewel. We recently sold Autumn Jewel who is bred and is expecting her first cria this spring. We expect that she will make a good foundation female for her new owners. <--description-->
Description
Autumn is a real sweetie. She has great fleece and conformation characteristics. Autumn is from a great lineage of great producing dams. They don't get any better. Autumn is a Peruvian Virtual Vincuna of Starhill grandaughter. She is covered from her nose to her toes with very soft, curly/crimpy very dense fleece. With Drambuie in her background, who would expect less. Autumn has blessed us with a beautiful female cria name Roxy, she is a carbon copy of her mom. Autumn was an easy birther and is a great mom. Autumn gave us a beautiful brown girl on Oct. 8, 2011. We named her Autumn Bliss after Mom and Dad, Blissful's Knight. Update!! Autumn has done it again, she has given us another female, on Nov. 25, 2012 she had our not so little Pearl, she was 17-1/2 pounds and is white with a hint of fawn on her neck and ears.
