MODELO'S FIRST OFFSPRING HAVE ARRIVED AND ARE JUST AWESOME! They are so dense, very fine, and crimpy with a lot of brightness! Just look at the champion genetics this male has. Not only is Modelo a champion, but his sire is a multiple champion as well as his sister Danika, both who need no introduction. This is one herdsire that will improve your breeding program and one you don't want to pass up on. We strive for consistency in quality and we believe Modelo has these qualities. He is already criating outstanding offspring that will be unmatched! When Modelo Especial was first born we knew he would be a very special male who would grow up to be a top award winner just like his siblings before him. His Dam, Fortune Cookie, is one of our top producing true black females and a multiple award winner herself. Modelo's 1/2 sister is Grand River Danika, who needs no introduction. She was one of the top females in the country born in 2006 and has won numerous blue ribbons and a championship herself. Danika is one of the females we sold across seas to the UK. Modelo Especial is the full package. He has a very pleasing phenotype, excellent conformation, dense, very bright crimpy fleece that is uniform throughout the blanket and from head all the way down to his haunches. Modelo has that "Wow" factor! He attracts so much attention on and off our farm. He is a multiple first place award winning male who has placed no less than 2nd in large competetive shows. At the 2008 OABA Alpacafest, Modelo won 1st and Reserve Champion against very tough competetion. He actually beat out another multiple champion gray male who the judge never even took another look at. Modelo is the full package. He offers strong black and gray genetics such as those of Rincon Cloud (2005 AOBA National Gray Color Champion), Rayo Del Sol (8X Champion including AOBA Nationals), Danko, and Bolivian Vesuvius (known for producing high quality blacks and grays that carry on fineness with age).

Dutchess is full sister to both Grand River Luminosity and Grand River Esperanza, who are both champions. Although Dutchess never won a championship herself, she is a blue ribbon winner and producer of outstanding high quality show offspring. Dutchess has given us two outstanding gray offspring, both sired by our silver gray herdsire, Modelo Especial. Dutchess has very dense fleece that is almost the color of a deep red or mahogany. Her fleece has tiny indullations of crimp. Dutchess carries sought after genetics of her late grandfather, Accoyo Peruvian Legacy who was the highest selling alpaca in history as well as her Sire Dark Shaddow, who is one of the top black herd sires in the US who is no longer offered for outside breedings. Dutchess has already proven herself to be outstanding. Dutchess is currently open and ready to breed to your herdsire.
