Simpatica's Black Beauty

SuriOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 1073836DOB: 6/18/200321 yrs
Black Beauty has been an important individual among PVA’s production females for these last five years. Her notable offspring include Diamonte’s Diva (2006) and Black Beau (2008), who this year won IAO Supreme CHAMPION and became a 4th Generation COLOR CHAMPION winning at both AOBA Nationals and the Futurity, as well as Beyonce (2005), Black Bella (2007), Bettina (2009), and a pearly-white female in 2010. Each cria has enjoyed good health and great mothering from Black Beauty. Black Beauty stands out from the herd thanks to her true-black coloring, her expressive eyes, and the tightly-curling ringlets on her face and neck. We decided to try something a bit different for 2010, and bred her to Corneliani instead of Kobe or Diamonte. Corneliani won 1st Place halter and 1st Place Best Head in the 2007 Internaional Alpaca Odyssey. He also placed 1st Place AOBA National. Reserve Champion 2006 Futurity, Reserve Champion 2006 AWE, Reserve Champion 2005 AWE, Reserve Champion 2005 Buckeye, 1st Place 2005 MAPACA Eastern Jubilee. She delivered a female cria by Corneliani in September of 2010. Black Beauty gave birth to a true black female cria by Balboa for 2012. Bright eyed and bushy tailed, this cria is a sterling example of what both her sire and dam are capable of producing-- luster and locks, good conformation, winning disposition! Black Beauty is breeding to Chakotah's Wyuna for 2013, at the request of her new owner.

Dark Herdsire of the Year 2011

MacGyver's Balboa

SuriHerdsire (Male)Bay Black
AOA# 1049121DOB: 7/31/200519 yrs
There are few alpaca herd sires in the same league as MacGyver’s Balboa. He is co-owned by Park View All American Alpacas in Oregon and Victoria Lane Alpacas in Ohio. During the course of his show career Balboa racked up 16 Halter Championships-- 13 Color Championships and 3 Reserve Championships. And his fleece won a few awards too. At the MAPACA 2008 Fleece competition, Balboa’s fleece was awarded a First Place and Best Suri Locks. Then at the 2008 AOBA National Fleece Show, Balboa was awarded First Place and Reserve Color Championship. His fleece also received a Special Award at Nationals for Best Suri Locks. Balboa’s offspring have accrued more than 25 championships among them to date! Though he is true black, Balboa specializes in both light and dark colored offspring, and both do equally well in the show ring. Thus it is at the 2011 Futurity, he was named both Dark Herd Sire of the Year and Reserve Light Herd Sire of the Year. Included on the light side of the family, from Park View Alpacas, are: Lucieno of PVA, 2011 AOBA National Show Reserve Color Champion; the divine Imperial Princess of PVA, 2011 IAO Supreme Color Champion, 2011 CABA Color Champion, and 2011 Futurity Res Color Champion; Balboa’s Fanfare of PVA, the 2011 IAO Color Champion; Chablis of PVA: 2010 GWAS Res. Color Champion, and 2011 IAO Best Head; and blue-ribbon-winning and future color champion Chardonnay of PVA: 1st 2011 AOBA National Show, 1st 2011 Futurity, 1st 2011 GWAS, and 2011 IAO Best Head. But wait, Balboa makes dark Color Champions as well! These include, again from Park View Alpacas: Bejeweled of PVA, 2011 AOBA National Show Reserve Color Champion; Nataliah of PVA, half-sister of PVA Mahogany Prince and 2011 AOBA National Show Color Champion; Chanterelle of PVA, 2011 Futurity Color Champion and 2011 AOBA National Show Reserve Color Champion; Fawnessa of PVA, 2011 IAO Color Champion; and the immortal, memorable Testaverde of PVA: 2011 Color Champion at the IAO, the CABA Classic, the AOBA National Show, and 2010 Futurity Color Champion. Balboa has also sired some champions for Victoria Lane Alpacas. His first offspring to hit the ground, Balboa’s Adrienne, won 3 Reserve Championships during her show career. Then Adrienne’s full sister, Balboa’s Lexi, came along and also took 3 Reserve Championships—FABA 2011, Best of US 2011, and CABO 2011. In addition to these accomplishments, Balboa is just plain an all-around great guy. He’s friendly and intelligent, easy to handle, comes when he’s called, doesn’t cause problems with other males, and treats his ladies with dignity. UPDATE: NEW CO-OWNERS M&M ALPACAS OF NORTH CAROLINA

Description

Black Bella is compact and impish with bright black eyes and thick soft fleece. Sometimes she permits her ears to be delicately scratched, especially during fly season. Black Bella is the daughter of Black Beauty (also listed for sale) and Diamonte of PVA, and full sister to such PVA show string luminaries as Diamonte’s Diva of PVA - 2008 AOBA & GWAS COLOR CHAMPION and Black Beau of PVA, who won the illustrious IAO Supreme CHAMPION this year along with COLOR CHAMPIONS at the AOBA Nationals and Futurity. Black Bella gave birth to her first cria in September of 2010, a curly-haired fawn male by Balboa, named Bentley of PVA. Black Bella has proven herself a first-rate mother--her milk production is excellent and her mothering skills superb. She was rebred to Balboa. Black Bella delivered her second cria in late October of 2011. Her cria was a beautiful little girl, with large black eyes and an impish demeanor. Black Bella was rebred to Balboa for 2012. Black Bella gave birth to a true black male cria on November 1st of this year. He is a beautiful boy, and his mama is very fond of him. Black Bella has been rebred to Balboa for 2013. She is being offered for sale at the 2013 Music City Suri Showdown!
