Marathon's crias are now on the ground, and they are gorgeous! He has 15 crias so far, and all are awesome, and as of November, 2009, Irish Meadows has a new half sister of Golden Girl, and she is jet black, and sired by Marathon! Marathon has thrown a solid, spot free, jet black female cria! EIGHT TIME CHAMPION, as of April, 2008. All in Halter, Full Fleece. FULL ACCOYO MEDIUM FAWN! Marathon is one of a kind - this full Accoyo medium fawn male has "a next generation elite fleece," perfect head, bite and conformation. His fleece has a very high-amplitude crimp, is extremely bright, and well-bundled, with a long-staple length. Genetically, he is a fusion of Accoyo sires Caligula, Camilio and Auzengate (Australia). He has placed as Reserve or Color Champion in the first 8 out of 10 shows in his career, with 4 of the banners earned as a juvenile, all with blue ribbon wins. He placed as Reserve Color Champion at the OABA Alpacafest, Nov. 2007 with a shear date of July, 2007, competing in full fleece. We think this is a record for number of championships for a full Accoyo fawn male! This fantastic male has fleece of the future and will bring your breeding program to new levels. This full Accoyo medium fawn male tore up the show ring during his career. His progeny is doing the same. Check out Sister Golden Hair and Cadence from our site. Breedings with this stellar future herdsire will be extremely limited, and only 10 outside breedings are being offered his first year of production. Reserve yours today as they are going fast! Come see this guy and you will know why he has the record for highest selling price as a juvenile. Why not have Champions and Full Accoyo? Book your breeding today. You won't be sorry. The quality is awesome! Co-Owned with The Alpaca Group, NW and Alpacas of the Ark

Dam: Nyala's Peruvian Carousel Girl

Nyala's Peruvian Carousel Girl

HuacayaBred (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 1082883DOB: 5/28/200420 yrs
This gorgeous, leggy full-Peruvian, half-accoyo medium fawn darling looks really showy. She has an amazing luster to her curly crimpy fiber. She is out of a grey dam and is a Nic Nac graddaughter and Black Magic great granddaughter. She seems to have gotten the best of all worlds. She has Black Magic's luster and Accoyo Express's soft dense crimpy fiber. Her fiber must be seen to be believed! Carousel has placed first and second in her first 2 shows (before and after the same Magical Farms animal), and just got her first color championship this fall in a large class! She will be bred full accoyo late this fall. That cria will be fantastic! Update: During shearing this year, 2006, Mark L was shearing Carousel and stopped the shearing operations to comment on the beauty of her fleece, and to insist we save it for show. So we did! Carousel sheared 9 pounds in April of 2006, and we left leg coverage on her. Update: On October 8, Carousel delivered a dark fawn 3/4 accoyo female! On October 11, Carousel delivered a very nice male out of Accoyo Stratosphere. See Javelin on our sales list. He is the total package! Carousel is now bred to Accoyo Fawn Connery, for one of his first crias. That 3/4 Accoyo cria should be awesome!

Service Sire: Avalon's Jacob Black

19 Time Halter Champion

Avalon's Jacob Black

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)True Black
AOA# 31526920DOB: 6/25/201014 yrs
19 Time Halter Champion in True Black! 2012 has been good to Jacob Black. Every show he went to, he was the Color Champion, and it didn't matter if it was the Futurity or Nationals. He finished 2012 with a stellar 19 halter champion banners! Jacob Black has great conformation, a beautiful fleece, and a handsome head. His true black fleece is extremely uniform with a very expressive crimp style found normally on white animals. His personality is laid back and gentle. Jacob Black started showing when he was 9 months old, and since that time, he bannered in every show he went to, with the exception of a blue ribbon at the Futurity when he was 10 months old. Jacob is not available to outside breedings. He will be an exclusive, restricted herdsire for our black program, and he will join 15 time champion Knight Rider in producting show winning blacks. Update: Jacob Black wins Reserve Dark Herdsire at the 2015 Futurity and the 2016 Futurity! That is a fabulous achievement! Update: Jacob Black's crias are outstanding, and many of them are already champions themselves!

Description

Meet a 7 time champion and a Judges Choice Champion at the large Minnesota Expo! Already an 8 time blue ribbon winner (out of 8 showings, 3 Color Champions and 3 Reserve Color Champions, AND ONE JUDGES CHOICE all as a juvi, this girl is something special! Do you think she takes after her 15 time champion brother? So you are wondering why the name......Javelin's dam Carousel was due during the Futurity show this year. During the long ride to OK City, an oldies station played America's big hit, Sister Golden Hair, several times. That song is a favorite, so I vowed that if Carousel had a girl, she would be named Sister Golden Hair. Appropriate for a fawn, don't you think? And the cria was both fawn and female! She arrived on the Saturday of the Futurity, so timing was everything. This little girl has big shoes to fill. Her golden hair might be like her big brother, Javelin, a 15 time champion male now breeding. Or she might be like big brother Renegade, a 6 time champion during last show season. Either way, we say that she will for sure be a multiple champion. No doubt about it! And did we mention her sire is an 8 time champion? Sister Golden Hair has a spot in our foundation herd for as long as she wishes. Update: Sister Golden Hair just delivered her second black female from Jacob Black in June of 2014. Her black female from Jacob born in June of 2013 won the 2014 Reserve Black female color championship at the Futurity in April. Can we dare hope for both of them to win at the same show next year? Time will tell!
