Caledonia has produced three fine fibered males which would not be something to write home about except that one of those males is a multiple banner and blue ribbon winner Highland Monarch, and the other two males had AFD's in the 17 range out of two different males. We believe that is an indication of Cali's quality as a production female and solid presence in our foundation herd. This past year she has produced yet another outstanding Male cria out of Andean Gold...THE Andean Gold who won the AFCNA Fleece award as a Mature male and added another banner when most males have long ago ceased to be impressive. Andean Gold is out of Santana, which is where the outstanding qualities Andean Gold has added to his offspring come from. Combined with Cali's award winning fleece, outstanding genetics, and production record, she is in the upper tier of our production females. Caledonia recently had an amazing white male cria from Sir Peruvian Accoyo Odyssey. There is no doubt in our minds that this boy will go on to become a Champion Herdsire as a result of these Champion genetics from both his Sire and Dam. Caledonia had an amazing white female cria in 12/22/2017! Caledonia is currently bred to Accoyo America Mahatma for a spring 2018 cria.

Description

Talisker is a light fawn full Peruvian and half Accoyo male. His fleece is full of luster and crimp and has a great handle to it. His Dam, Caledonia is a Color Champion and has passed all her great traits on to him. Talisker's Sire, Charles P Atlas, has won an amazing five Get-of-Sire ribbons. Talisker has a lot of upside as a potential Herdsire and is just getting started in the show ring.
