Meet one of our super white herdsires, Albertus Magnus (Albert the Great), or as we call him around the farm - 'Bert. Keeping with our strong breeding program's ongoing efforts at continuing to product long-held low micron, 'Bert's fiber is still "baby" grade at the age of 6 years, and looks to continue on in the same fashion for many more years! This 4x champion male has extremely bright bundles of the highly prized zipper crimp architecture! We strongly urge you to check out the photos of his fiber on the right side of this page!! He is remaining true to his Accoyo/Alianza background and is maintaining both incredible fineness and density His father is the multi-championship winning Lilly's Accoyo Dupioni, producer of 'Bert and other champs! 'Bert's maternal grandfather is the superstud, Royal Fawn. 'Bert's dam, Blanquita, is a blue ribbon winner in her own right. She, too, displays wonderful density & crimpy bundles. She is throwing some of the best crias to be found on our farm. 'Bert took a complete sweep in the championships & blue ribbons in every class (halter, shorn fleece, walking fleece) he was entered in at the 2009 Ohio National Champions show - a remarkable feat in the always strong white classes! During his show career, he took a total of 6 blue ribbons, along with 4 championships. We are very proud of this young man! His crias are dense, crimpy & low micron, just like dad! And best of all, 'Bert has proven that he covers color! One of his best so far, his 2013 light brown boy, Ren Farms' Magnus Effect looks to be a very promising prospect for both the show ring and the breeding pen! We are offering a breeding price of $500 for 'Bert breedings. We are also offering a female cria guarantee with each breeding bought. Contact us now to reserve a breeding or several - we offer multiple breeding discounts! 'Bert is truly living up to his namesake - Albert the Great!

Description

Rosetta was the 2004 AOBA Nationals grey fleece color champion. She is a Don Timbo daughter and a Request the Best granddaughter. She has tremendously high frequency fleece. Rosetta was never beaten during her show career, and she has produced championship-winning cria. In 2009, she produced a lovely consistent colored rose gray Color Champion boy, Renfarms' Rose Legend, for us out of the phenomenal multiple Champion herdsire, Magnum. In 2009, she was re-bred to 3x champion Kaleidoscope's Make It So, a stellar gray Michelangelo son and El Nino grandson. In 2010, this breeding produced a beautiful light rose gray girl, Renfarms' Scarlet & Gray Lady, whose blanket has a terrific consistency of color, and posseses a marvelous architecture and softness. "Scarlet" began her show career in spring of 2011, taking 3 ribbons in Hher first 3 shows. In 2010, Rosetta was bred to the nationally renowned gray, Legend's Challenger of KPR. The resulting 2011 silver gray cria, named Challenger's Silver Legend, is a remarkable looking boy with dense crimpy bundles and a very correct & upright conformation! He hit the show ring in the spring of 2012, and took the Color Championship in the fleece class and a blue in the halter class in his first outing - understandable as he has an AFD of 14.3! Rosetta's 2013 cria, Gray Lady's Down, is out of our multi-champion Michelangelo son, Kaleidoscope's Make It So. A very attractive light silver gray girl, Gray Lady's got a lovely, well-bundled fleece, with good handled, and only a few very small spots in her blanket. Her crimp is very consistent across her body, and she shows good promise to make it onto next year's show string.
