HERD DISPERSAL UPDATE: Noche is an older experienced male who knows what he wants in life. He is very food motivated. He can be grumpy at times, but is very good with people. He also is very guard dog friendly. He is best pals with one of ours. We use Noche as our spit tester. He does well after being spit at because he can be bought off with food afterward! He is a great candidate to be trained because of his steady desire to eat. So, Noche can function as help on the farm and can be a loyal loving pet! Noche is a quality Bay Black. He is not True Black, however, and as a result his genetics are now less useful to us as we have moved toward a grey and black breeding program. We have been using Noche on a limited basis, and he deserves more work as a sireā€”so we are offering Noche for sale. Don't miss your chance to acquire this Champion male! Noche is an exceptional stud male with fantastic coverage all the way down to his toes and a correspondingly perfect conformation. He is dense, but his character and softness now are more typical of an alpaca his age. Noche is a large male with presence and a friendly personality. As a young male, Noche achieved quite a show record. Noche is a full Peruvian male out of two imports, with his sire being 5Peruvian Quicksiver. His lines are rare, and he would addition to any farm herd genetics. Noche has 28+ offspring on the ground, and he has proven that he throws dark color. Two of his offspring are fawn, but all of the rest are black, brown, or grey! He excels at improving conformation, bone, and size in his progeny. He has consistently passed his ribbon-winning characteristics on to his cria.

Lise is the most asked-about alpaca on our farm. With her cute white face, she stands out in the pasture and is everyone's favorite. Lise has wonderful, square conformation and soft, dense fleece with average expression of crimp. While we first thought she was true black, after her first shearing the grey hairs became very evident. She is a beautiful, rare dark silver grey female! Lise has an outstanding family tree that includes many well known names such as Accoyo Pluro's Ross, Legacy of Bolivia, Peruvian Oro, and Peruvian Aladdin. Her sire is the champion and multiple ribbon-winning silver grey herdsire Sterling Apocalypse. Lise is named after Lise Meitner, a physicist who lived from 1878 to 1968. Meitner played a major role in the development of nuclear fission. The element Meitnerium, a transuranian element, is named after her. Yet unfortunately, when she gave a lecture to an audience in Berlin on "Problems of Cosmic Physics," the topic was reported in the newspapers as "Problems of Cosmetic Physics". One wonders whether they thought physics itself was purely cosmetic, or that women would only be interested in cosmetic physics! Lise earned a third place ribbon at the inaugural 2008 IAA Heartland Classic Show! Congratulations Lise! Judge Tim Lavan commented on Lise's square conformation and fleece density. Lise is a cute, large sized girl who will definitely be a poster child for whatever farm she ends up on. She could be the most asked about girl at your farm as well! Lise gave birth in fall 2011 to a cute dark brown girl, and followed that up with a nice silver tuxedo silver grey boy out of our own Noche Negro in May 2013. Lise has proven to be a great mom and is very protective of her cria!
