Yellow Rose New Moon is a true black with a Royal pedigree. Her dam and sire, both from Snowmass, have produced many fine animals who retain their fineness over time. New Moon is no exception. Her sire is the famous Jerico, a true black... Her Dam was Sir Winston's Sun Star who was an extremely fine dark fawn. New Moon is bred to none other than Snowmass Matrix Premier for a Fall (2013) cria New Moon generally has male offspring and would more than possibly throw a black male son....but guessed wrong as the verdict is on.....her female was born and named "Matrix Premier's Lunar Legacy" after both parents. She will soon replace her mom in our True Black Breeding Program, and will pass along her superior genetics.

Description

We are happy to introduce our new Herdsire, Midnight Magic's Mystery, co-owned with 4 Musketeers Alpaca Farm! Mystery is the Ultrafine son of Snowmass Midnight Magic (MC 19.4 @ 5 yrs). His dam is a black Jerico 69I daughter. His maternal grandsire, Jericho, was brought to the US especially for the Snowmass black breeding program. Jericho has a solid frame with good bone and coverage. His histogram at 4 years was 22.5. He was sold at the 2007 "CHAMPION IN THE MAKING SALE" with other North American Stud Group males. Add Snowmass Midnight Magic to these genetics and you get this incredible male, Midnight Magic's Mystery. Snowmass Midnight Magic has maintained his ultra fineness into adulthood. His density, fineness and character of fleece is what is desired in black huacaya herds. Snowmass booked 3 breeding to Mystery for 2009, and his genetics are all from their bloodlines! It's no surprise that Mystery has ultra fine Royal black fleece. His silky hand is extremely soft throughout his blanket and neck. He has moderate frequency/amplitude style crimp and very nice staple length. NO MEDULLATION IN THE PRIME, HEAD OR NECK AREAS! Mystery's first cria is a beautiful black male. The farm was so happy that they wanted a repeat breeding. If you love black and fineness as much as we do, you might want to add this guy to your breeding list for 2015. We will be running a breeding special this year at one for $500, two for $750 and three for $900. Be sure to book your breeding today!
