Description
Verticase is one of those alpacas that you know are very special the day they are born! Verticase was like no other alpaca that was ever born on our farm, he was amazing from day one! It was a joy to watch him grow and mature into the Elite Herdsire he is today. Verticase is a son of the late Snowmass Quechua. Quechua himself was a legend of his own, awarded multiple years in a row with the prestigious title of Futurity Herdsire of the Year! Verticase' fleece contains all of the characteristics that any serious Huacaya breeder would look for in an Elite Herdsire. Verticase is exhibiting unprecedented fineness and density. His micron at one year was 13.5 AFD! His fleece is extremely fine yet still carrying amazing amount of density! The results of his skin biopsy show that his density is 110 follicles/sq.mm. Consistently passing all these traits to his offspring. Verticase has the genes and proven himself to be one of the most Elite Herdsires in our Industry today. Upon reviewing his pedigree you will find the names of most of the top Herdsires in U.S. Alpaca history…Peruvian Hemingway, PPeruvian Caligula, 6Peruvian Accoyo Elite and PPeruvian Vengador.
