Summer Sunday Splash

HuacayaBred (Female)White, Light Fawn
AOA# 850408DOB: 8/10/200321 yrs
Summer is a sweetheart on the farm. She has a fawn colored dense crimpy blanket and a white collar around her neck. And she produces LOTS of fleece. She has a sweet face, friendly disposition, and beautiful appearance. She is great on a halter. This little guy has great crimp and we believe he is going to follow in his father's footsteps. She delivered a female cria in November 2006, Vanilla Cappuccino, who we sold to a breeder from Alaska. She delivered a white male cria out of Crown Jules, Blackforest's Aladdin. She was bred back to Rainier and we received an awesome cria out of her on 20 Oct 2008, Black Forest's Bandelier. We sold her 2009 cria. In 2010, we bred her Motivator (20-time color champion). They produced the best offspring Summer has ever produced, Black Forest's Camaro. For 2011, we decided to go with a dark sire, and bred her to MFI Peruvian Cordell. This resulted in Half Note, who now lives in Japan! We paired Summer with Mount Rainier for a 2012 cria, and we got a little brown girl, Sheena. We bred her to Motivator’s Innovator of Blackforest for a 2015 cria. She is a superb foundation female!! Call us and get more information on Summer today!

Service Sire: Crescent Moon's Equilizer

Crescent Moon's Equilizer

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Brown
AOA# 1223088DOB: 6/3/200519 yrs
Equilizer levels the playing field! A very photogenic male, Equilizer blends a daughter of Accoyo Legacy (who sold 1/2 interest for $750,000) with Snowmass Peruvian Black N' Gold (one of the premier colored herdsires in the US), for a very striking male. Black N' Gold is out of Snowmass Peruvian Escobar & Escobar is out of Peruvian Hemingway. THAT IS WORLD-CLASS BLOODLINES!! Equilizer has more then outward beauty and conformation, just look at his fleece! His fleece is outstanding in every major characteristic from fineness, density, luster, handle, and staple length. Equilizer shows more energy and testosterone then any of our young males. He is fun to watch and is just striking in every way. We had a monthly meeting at our farm of our local farm group (Southeastern Colorado Alpaca Breeders) and several farms looked at him and decided to do outside breedings to him. He should have 7 crias on the ground in 2008. We have him bred to at least 4 of our own females this year. We just got our first Equilizer cria on the ground out of Calista. WOW!! This little female is going to compete in the shows extremely well. Equilizer is ready for more outside breedings. The summary of his many awards are listed below but a Reserve Color Championship, two 1st Places and two 2nd Places in big classes demonstrate that his championship heritage was inherited from his dam and sire. 1st Picture was taken at 2 1/2 years old (Feb 08). What a MACHO Stud with some of the best bloodlines in the country. Purchase a female bred to Equilizer or purchase a breeding to this award winning herdsire.
