Dom Lucilio is known as "The Herdsire of Champions". His 248 offspring have dominated the show ring. They have racked up 73 known Championships and 192 Blue Ribbons, with Championships in Every Color, and we expect there are many more we don’t know about. This Accoyo Alianza male is a legend in his own time. Dom Lucilio is the son of two of the most highly regarded gene pools in South America. His famous sire, Accoyo Royal Fawn, has a history of passing on his fine-fibered genetics to his offspring. Dom's full Peruvian Dam, Finesse, has an outstanding production record as well. With the best of both worlds in his lineage, this American-born herdsire's offspring continue to dominate the show rings from coast to coast in every color group. Double "O" Good Alpacas purchased Dom Lucilio at the Spring Fling 2004 Auction. This was a shining moment for us and we are proud to be the owners of such a legendary herdsire. Contact 1-888-257-7792 for more information on Dom Lucilio, including Herdsire progeny statistics, and to schedule your breedings today! Let our breeding program give you the "Breeder's Edge". Ice Princess is our best "mothers". We have owned all of her offspring (Reykjavik, Ice Duchess, Icelander, White Russian, White Knight, Shenandoah, and now Jupiter) but have sold Ice Duchess and Icelander to Rockin' Schoolhouse Ranch in 2006. Ice Princess is the daughter of Bolivian White Ice which is one of Alpacas of America's white herdsires with Bolivian ancestory. Princess is one of our more timid females in that she stands in the back of the herd when we are doing work around the corrals and is almost always one of the last ones in from the pasture when we round them up for the evening. She has an extremely nice disposition and her crias have the exact same disposition as their mom. They tend to be very quiet and are never aggressive when it comes to feeding time. Princess has this great knack of producing offspring that are considerably better than she is in every aspect and has given us ribbon winners EVERY YEAR. She is overall a B- female alpaca for fleece and an A+ breeding female for offspring. She is one of our original females and is a "rock solid" foundation female for any herd. She has a 1st and a 3rd Produce of Dam Ribbon at TxOLAN 2 yrs in a row and the competition was very tough!! Her male cria (White Knight) from 2007 out of Challenge placed 4th out of 14 in an extremely competitive white male juvenile class at GWAS 08. Breed her to almost any herdsire and you will improve the cria at least one to two generations! She delivered a white female cria with lots of crimp in 2008 (Shenandoah). The quality of the cria was so superb, we repeated the breeding to Jules. She delivered a white male cria in 2009 that is extremely nice (Jupiter). Her breeding Aquila de mi Corazon produced Black Forest's Titan. In 2012, we bred her to MFI Peruvian Cordell and they produced a beautiful girl, Arietta. For 2013, we bred her to Prosecco. They produced a beautiful little girl, Cinderella, who was sold to a farm in Japan!! Ice Princess is now bred to our 29X-Champion TP Poseidon's Motivator. Ice Princess is just one of our very best moms!!!

Description

Reykjavik's sire is Dom Lucilio which makes Rey 1/4 ACCOYO and 1/2 Peruvian. Rey is an outstanding example of breeding an above average female with an outstanding male that produces an outstanding offspring. Rey has some of the best fleece we've seen with outstanding fineness, handle, staple length, and density. We bred him to two of our foundation herd females at about 28 months of age and both of these ladies got pregnant on the first try! His first cria is Capt Morgan in our herd. He looks pretty amazing already. As a Dom Lucilio son, we purchased Rey before his father sold at auction in May of 2004 for over $400,000. Rey might not be as good as his dad, but he is throwing outstanding crias. Rey's crias did very well at TxOLAN in 2008. Reykjavik received 4th Place (out of 9 entries) for Get-of-Sire. His offspring won 1st (Beige) and Reserve Color Champion in Light (Prince Charming), a 2nd in Dark Fawn with Belle, and a 5th with Capt Morgan in Medium Fawn. All three classes were big and very competitive. We only bred Reykjavik one time for 2008 crias but we will definitely be increasing that number of breedings for 2009 crias. Prince Charming also won a Blue ribbon at GWAS and Reykjavik finished 6th in Get-of-Sire, both classes being extremely large and competitive.
