Tall, white and handsome, this full Peruvian herdsire has demonstrated his ability to pass on his superior fleece and perfect confirmation. The iridescent luster and lock structure of Ampato's cria has been outstanding!
If you are wanting to add superior Peruvian bloodlines to your herd, Ampato is the sire for your dam. He is white but can throw color that appears to be lit from within because of the luster. His cria have been DENSE with lots of lustrous, tightly twisted fleece. He consisitently throws that twisted corkscrew lock that shows well in the ring. He has beautiful luster and great lock structure and his fiber is a lot of fun to spin. There are grays in his background so lots of wonderful possibilities.
Tuco is a mild mannered boy and gets along with all of the herd. He is bred to our very own DEFIANCE'S PRIMA DONNA for a fall 2014 cria. Donna delivered on Friday, September 19th, a girl. Her fiber is BRIGHT WHITE and she is just breathtaking. We were very happy with this breeding. His first cria hit the ground in the fall of 2010, a beautiful white boy - Rainbow Mountain's Clint Eastwood.
2013 fiber statistics came back from Yocum-McColl with an AFD of 23.7 at eight years of age, Tuco is sure to add some fineness to your cria.
