He placed third in Futurity (behind Snowmass animals) as a juvenile and yearling! He placed 2nd (behind Snowmass as well) at the IAO as an adult. His Dam is Quechua’s Vicuna one of Snowmass's only direct colored Quechua daughters and is stunning! His sire is Royal Challenger - no more needs to be said! Snowmass Royal Challenger, the 2004 Futurity Color Champion, has proven himself by producing the next generation of elite colored huacaya alpacas. He is the son of Snowmass Royal Rose, one of the top Studs from the North American Alpaca Stud Group, Royal Challenger hails from a long line of “greats” including Hemingway and Bueno. Challenger’s dam, PPPeruvian Edelweis is a grand dam in her own right- a long time producer of champions.
