Revelation is one of those herd sires that is a game changer. He has been a blessing to our farm. His cria are some of the nicest greys we have ever produced. We are taking offers on our half ownership of Revelation and have some offspring of his on our farm that are also offered for sale. Don't miss this opportunity to add one of the greatest grey herd sires to your herd sire row! Revelation's cria are on the ground and they are astonishing. We don't say that casually. Revelation is truly a gem in the alpaca world. His temperament is perfect, respectful and calm. He is a great breeder. Ian Watt did a biopsy on Revelation and he had this to say: "You will find the results quite satisfactory!" and also "These figures represent a SUPERIOR silver grey male in todays grey population!" Follicle Density: 54.01 follicles/mm S/P 9.5:1 Revelation received the highest fleece score of all greys at '08 Nationals, composite class where he took a blue ribbon. Revelation is a stunning full Peruvian light silver grey herd sire. A judge commented that Revelation is one of only a couple "true" silver grey alpacas he had ever seen. Revelation's sire is the legendary 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend, a medium silver grey sire who passed away recently. Revelation is the last full Peruvian grey male he had sired. Revelation has deep, uniform crimp from skin to tip and from front to rear. He has a very pleasing, typey head with black eyes and straight conformation. His bite is perfect. He has a very gentle temperament also. We proudly co-own Revelation with Steve and Rose Ann Knoblock of Knoblock's Prairie Ranch in Kansas. Please contact them if you would like information on getting your grey breeding for the 2012 season.

Highland Aberdeen's Northern Lights

HuacayaBred (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 31996532DOB: 9/3/200321 yrs
Of course we were expecting a black out of this breeding combination, but once again, we are not disappointed in the outcome! Northern Lights would be a strong candidate for anyone’s foundation herd. She has perfect conformation, lots of dense, crimpy fiber, and loads of color genetics. In fact, the combination of her Accoyo background and color make her the kind of girl you want to breed to black and gray. When Legend’s Peruvian Revelation was in town, we knew this would be a great match up of fiber, genetics, and color for her first cria. “Rev” is a multiple banner winner putting outstanding gray cria on the ground. This is a girl to put at the top of your list! Northern Lights' dam is a true black out of our 3/4 Accoyo black female we sold for $100,000 at Nationals. Aberdeen has a black sire sire, so the color genetics are in place for Northern LIghts to add color and fineness to your herd. Aberdeen gave us another female in 2010, and really, that's the only reason Northern Lights is anywhere near a sales list. Think of her as part of our Black/Gray Package and get some females that will make a big difference in your breeding program.
