El Nino's Elberto is a pre-potent elite alpaca who is the complete package - outstanding confirmation, presence, great genetics and dense fiber. He maintained a stunning histogram though his 5th shearing and still at his old age is in the Top 6 out of 9 EPDs and even as a dark fawn! His grandsires are PPeruvian Caligula and PCA Peruvian Microsoft with his great-grand sire being PPeruvian Camilio. His Sire, PCA El Nino, had a remarkable Secondary/ Primary fiber ratio of 12.5 and a Follicular Density of 89.2 follicles per square millimeter of skin. We believe that Elberto is one the the highest quality offspring of El Nino. He has won a ribbon in every show that he has entered! Elberto has sired outstanding crias beginning in the summer of 07. Since then he has put his stamp on the majority of his offspring who have won numerous ribbons at the largest AOBA shows and top EPDs. We have one working stud and 5 foundation females in our herd that are his offsping. A 2009 fleece sort revealed 88 oz of WL 2 & 3 in his blanket and 41 oz of WL 1 & 2 in his neck ( nice neck density). His brightness is 9 out of 10 from cut end to tip, 9 out of 10 for density, 9 out of 10 for consistent uniformity of crimp from cut end to tip, medium amplitude and frequency crimp of 5-7 per inch. Excellent fleece weights include 42 oz on lower legs. Staple length 3.5 to 4.0 inches. Sorter commented "beautiful secondary/primary fiber alignment and nice fleece weight." Description

A quality cria who looks just like his sire El Nino's Elberto did as a young cria. He has a very bright fleece with primary fibers aligning with his secondary fiber already at a young age. He has great genetics with PCA Accoyo El Nino as grandsire, Pperuvian Caligula and PCA Peruvian Microsoft as great-grandsires and Pperuvian Camilio as great-great-grandsire on top and Pperuvian Vengador as great-grandsire and Peruvian Hemingway as great-great-grandsire on bottom. A chance to buy a young potential stud with very little money. As a breeder with a number of elite studs we can only keep a fraction of male cria born on our farm. As Francios grows of age and you believe he definitely has what it takes to be a stud ( excellent conformation and fleece characteristics) you pay us only $3,000 more to be able to use him as a breeder. If you choose not to designate him as a breeder, you can take a $500 credit towards a Columbia Mist female alpaca for sale. A win/win for both of us!
