His full Peruvian sire is the famous herd sire "NIC NAC," a gray who took the Reserve Color Champion at the 2000 National Conference. His dam, "4Peruvian Midnight Hour," has equally great conformation and a true black fleece. Smokey Joe boasts both colors with gray prominence, allowing multiple opportunities for colored future cria.
Smokey has followed his father into the show ring, winning many blue and championship ribbons. A proven male with dark fawns, bay blacks, true blacks and silver grey cria already on the ground and others on the way. Smokey would be a welcome addition to any breeding program.
