Lancaster offspring are consistant and consistanly high quality. He puts his stamp on his offspring for sure. Not only is Lancaster's fleece consistent but so were his show winnings. He won his 14th blue ribbon at MAPACA '05. And he won the coveted Fawn Male Color Championship at MAPACA '04. Lancaster has been called, by more than one judge: "the total package". Mr. Safley said what's more impressive is that even though Lancaster was over 2 years old and the second oldest out of the sixteen first place males vying for Championship, he was the finest of them all-even the 7 month old standing reserve behind him. He exhibits all that we desire in a male and so much more. He has a magnetic presence with a charming, inquisitive personality and is an absolute gentleman. His well-balanced, heavily boned frame is entirely covered with dense, carpet-like fleece. Lancaster is passing on his quality fleece and strong conformation to his get. Lancaster throws color of the dam or a shade or two either way 70% of the time. When he's not letting the dams color through he's producing black out of grey & fawn from darks. Peruvian Lancaster is proudly co-owned with Flying Pony Alpacas. We’re offering these guarantees: -90 day live birth guarantee -90 day Breeding Quality Guaran

Description

Looking for a true, “blue black” female with excellent pedigree that’s ready to step into your production lineup? Look no further! A Paca Fun’s Colette is the product of one of Silver Legend of KPR’s best true black daughters and Peruvian Lancaster. She is an eye catching compact girl with square frame and correct conformation. Her fleece is bright, has well defined architecture, and is holding fiber stats of AFD 18.92, SD 3.89, CF 98.8% at almost 2 years of age. Given her lineage, we expect these fiber stats to hold as she ages. Collette combines the excellent qualities of both her parents... AND.... she is currently ultrasound confirmed pregnant to Aussie .38 Special, due 10-14-14. Nothing is absolutely sure in alpaca color genetics, but given past results we would not be surprised to see a tuxedo gray cria out of this pairing. Whatever the color, we expect the melding of these impressive genetic lines to produce a stunning cria! Congratulations to Glenn and Susan Kacsh, Pleasant Journey Alpacas, , Hesperus, CO!
