Description

Aliena's wonderful temperament would make her perfect for the new breeder. She has a friendly and curious nature and is always the first girl to greet us in the barn. "Ali's" also a proven dam and terrific mom. She births easily and has an ample milk supply. Her first cria "Stormy" (a Jericho grand-daughter), was born with an IgG of 2465! Ali's heredity includes Mr. Zesto, Donovan, Augusto, and Celebration. Past comments by our certified sorter regarding Ali's fleece were..."very soft", "beautiful color", "Lots of usable fleece", and "very consistent fleece." She rated an 8/10 for brightness, 8/10 for density, and 8/10 for uniformity of crimp/lock style. Aliena's first cria named Rolling Spring's Weather the Storm, aka "Stormy" is a super sweet girl that resides at our farm. Aliena's most recent cria, BLOOMING FIELD FARM'S MAXWELL, was born 9/20/13. Maxwell is healthy, adorable, and thriving. His sire, A.L. PACA'S JUAN VALDEZ, has a truly impressive show record. He earned a total of twelve firsts and thirteen seconds in addition to a Championship and Reserve Championship. Juan Valdez's dam, DFA Coco was the grand-dam of the infamous A.L. PACA'S REVOLUTION, and the great-grand dam of 2013 Color Champion, PSAF ANDROMEDA'S DARKSTAR. We would hold onto Aliena but we have shifted the focus of our breeding program to white and fawn.
