With a pedigree that reads like the who’s who of the alpaca world we feel Gauge is destined for greatness. His gorgeous fawn fleece is to die for possessing the qualities we all desire, incredible fineness, consistency and one of the longest staple lengths we’ve seen. He is straight, strong, well proportioned and has an excellent bite. Gauge is related to most of our herd but we’ll find work for him somewhere! ***Gauge is standing stud at Camel's Hump Alpacas in Huntington Vermont and is available for drive-by and mobile breedings. There is now a Gauge cria on the ground and she is beautiful! Gorgeous dark fawn fleece full of character and possessing Gauges phenomenal staple length! He was bred to a girl that has been known to throw white markings and this little girl is completely solid color! And she took Blue at the highly competitive Green Mountain Alpaca Fall Spectacular! Gauge's 6 year histogram: 2011 AFD: 22.6, SD: 4.6, CoV: 20.5%, >30: 5.5% Not too shabby.

Sorpressa has consistantly been the mother of our top quality crias. She is the quiet leader of the females, is easy to handle and a great mother. She was born on one Farm Day and then gave birth during a school field trip visit. Four beautiful females in four tries (her latest, Nova, just earned a blue ribbon in her only showing) has us anxiously awaiting her due date with CCNF Royal Odin. She and her cria will be available some months after the birth and will come with or without a breeding.
