This one looks dark brown, but I suspect she will actually be bay black or true black. Another unassisted birth for Nadia and she has plenty of milk. Baby Willow is beautiful and curly!!!

Nadia gave birth (July 9, 2012) to a beautiful dark silver grey (indefinite) little girl!!! We couldn't be happier. The birth was unassisted and Nadia has an abundance of milk. The baby weighed in at 18.1 lbs! She is stunning! What a blessing! I think we will name her Wyndy Pynes' Anastasia. Check back for pictures!
Nadia is simply beautiful and carries a perfectly straight frame from her topline to her back toes and has a perfect bite. Her fleece is a rich true black with soft handle, crimp, & density. She is a pleasure to be around. She has had 2 cria...the first was a true black male and the second a medium brown female with black tips. She is an attentive mother with plenty of milk. What a wonderful foundation female! She is a color champion and a sure thing for any farm looking to start a breeding program or for someone who wants some fabulous bloodlines and a proven producer.
Her bloodlines speak volumes as she is from the great Peruvian Macusani G204 who is considered one of the finest full Peruvian LSG (light silver grey) herdsires brought into this country.
UPDATE: We color checked Nadia's 2012 cria (Anastasia Rose) again yesterday 7/28/13 and she is DARK SILVER GREY. <--description-->

Gettysburg is just simply amazing. He is first to greet you when you walk into the pen. He has square solid conformation. Getty's fleece has very nice density with crimp and soft hand. His 2014 cria fleece tested w/ Yocom McColl at AFD 19.4, SD 3.4, CV 17.8, and only 0.9 >30! Wow! Very nice with a 4" staple after only 9 months of growth. (sheared in July 2013 right after birth)
We are moving in a different direction and have sold most of our darker females so Gettysburg will not be used for many breedings with our small herd (5 females). Getty would make a very nice fiber male but could be used for breeding as well. He just doesn't match well with our small female herd. We will probably geld him this fall if not sold before then.

Description
Anastasia is a solid, quiet proven alpaca. She has full coverage with dark silver gray fiber that still feels soft. Ana Rose would be best placed with an experienced owner, as she can be hard to handle at times (mainly her feet!), which is why she's priced as she is. I love her fiber and she produced a very nice son.
Ana has beautiful dark fiber with lots of gray, making her a modern dark silver gray. Her coverage is from nose to toes and she continued to have long staple even when bred last year. She has consistent fiber although her micron has crept up with pregnancy.
Anastasia had a beautiful male cria on July 8, 2015 after 354 days of gestation! He's medium brown, 17 lbs at birth, and covered in crimpy bundles with above average density. Ana is being a terrific mom and cria is gaining 4-6 oz a day. "Smoked Quartz" had a nice 4th place at his first show (MIAS, Level 3, class of 7 under Sharon Loner). He has continued to develop with increased density. His yearling fiber stats in 2016 were: 20.5 afd, 3.9 SD, 18.9 CV, 1.7 >30.
