Ascent Update: Ascent just took his 7th Blue Ribbon and Brown Color Championship at the Royal Alpaca Challenge in Georgia 11.05.2011!!!!
“Ascent" is now home in Georgia for the winter/spring months thru April 2012. Then back to New York for the summer/fall months of May thru October. Ascent has exquisite fleece and solid conformation with very nice head style & full coverage. His fleece is crimpy and soft with lots of staple and bundling.
Last season at almost 4 yrs old & the oldest alpaca in the show, Ascent won his 6th blue ribbon at the Southern Select Show 2010!
Ascent won his 5th blue at the 2007 NJ show and topped off the year with a R Color Championship! Judge Barboza-"well packaged, flawless conformation, nice combination of staple length, density and uniform character throughout his fleece.
Ascent started his show career with 5 blue ribbons & a banner in his first five shows:
2007 North American Alpaca Show
Judge Vandenbosch commented "soft handle, nice character, good density, perfect conformation.
2007 MAPACA Jubilee
Judge McCloud said: Ascent had good overall size development for his age and considerable testicular development. She appreciated his strong frame and correctness & that he was "packing lots of fleece with impressive staple, even character and fineness"
Ascent took another blue! He bested a big class at Empire where Judge Timmerman said "I was impressed by all aspects of this boy, he is put together very well, perfect form, proportions are correct, substance of bone, bite, a stunning male with stunning fleece carrying softness, brightness, excellent crimp and excellent length of staple, very even fleece characteristics across the body."
Ascent was awarded a blue at VT. He was in VERY close consideration for the reserve championship. Judge Burhman commented that she wished she could have given two reserves because he is such a nice male".

Juliana's solid gray and black genetics come from some of the outstanding gray's in the North America. Silver Sovereign, Shaquille. Quicksilver, Silvio, Quincy and more. Her fleece is uniform in color and has a very nice handle. What separates her from other grays is her beautiful black "raccoon" eyes. She is easy to handle and we are really excited about her cria "B.O.Y." He as his father's amazing fleece and his mothers beautiful confirmation. B.O.Y is hitting the show string in November 2013.
Juliana last breeding to Ascent went spectacular so we opted to rebreed her again to this big guy, AuSable Valley’s Ascent, a Multi-Champion Sire!!!
