Rocket is the Son of the infamous Rockamundo, Rockamundo is one of Canada's top producing macho males and is a direct import from Bolivia, at 18 months his fleece scored 13.6 microns, the finest fiber ever screened under ARI rules! At that time he sheared 14.5 lbs of fiber and was re-tested on March 2002, still 20 microns! He has coverage from his nose to his toes staple length and re-growth like no other. Rocket has all of these traits and more. Heater is a virtual chip off the old block. With a nice head and lovely conformation. New Moon is a True Black Peruvian Aladdin Granddaughter. Daughter to the well known herdsire JA DANTE she is a Wonderful mother, plenty of milk and very attentive. She breeds easily usually getting pregnant the first breeding. What attracted us to Moon was the very proud manor in which she shows herself, she always holds her head up high as if she is telling you that she is a wonderful alpaca! Nice straight lines with a soft handle black fleece. If you are looking for a proven mom in black, she is the one! With a very solid stature. She has produced some exceptional cria. Her son Kuska Thunder Struck has shown 4 times placing 1st-3rd in all cases and also won us a breeders best award in 2008! So we know that she puts fabulous babies on the ground! Moon is currently being bred to Kuska The Reverend Horton Heat for spring 2012, He is a Hemmingway Grandson out of Snowmass Peruvian Avalanche + Rockamundo grandson as well!
