SOLD Quality breeds quality, at least most of the time! A quick look at RRoyal Stars ARI certificate will illustrate just how painstakingly the Skinners, at Snowmass Alpacas, constructed their breeding decisions to arrive at this offspring. We purchased mom as the second highest selling female at their 2007 auction. Roy has quietly ascended to the top of our breeding program and undeniably will be a major contributor. He is out of 2 outstanding Snowmass fawns. We believe that he is a "switch hitter" and expect that he will produce both great whites and more importantly color. Mom is one of our strongest foundation females and has produced champions repeatedly. Dad is one of the best Hemingway sons with an outstanding production record, including Herdsire of the Year, Snowmass XXXtreme (brown). He is incredibly dense, very fine, and his fleece "glows". It is extremely uniform with a baby soft hand. It breaks into long, silky, draping, opalescent locks belying his incredible fineness/density. 2009 was a breakout season for Roy. He brought raves from every judge who saw him and acquitted himself well against some of the best in the country. Follicle density testing (Ian Watt) Follicle density: 79.51 /mm2 S/P: 13.0:1 Dp:Ds ratio 1.42 " This is the 4th densest alpaca that we have tested in the US and the 5th in the world" (as of 6/30/09) (For comparison, El Nino was higher at 89.5 in follicle density, but had an S/P 12.5 compared to Roy's 13.0/1.) We have used RRoy across our herd now for three years with remarkable results in increased density and fineness. We are now using his best son RR Arturo (see his biopsy results) to replace his father in our colored program. RRoy's light fawn son, RR Bacchus just won FIRST PLACE and COLOR CHAMPION at his first show under Diana Timmerman. This is an opportunity to have one of the densest alpacas in this country working for you and improving your entire herd. Please feel free to call us to ask any questions or to discuss!

Wonderful Foundation Female!

Proud Mary of RR

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 31332088DOB: 7/24/200816 yrs
Mary has been one of our wonderful foundation females and produced very nice cria for us. It is time to change our genetics and offer Mary for another lucky ranch! Proud Mary is a beautiful medium fawn carrying uniform fleece with excellent brightness and length and she has outstanding conformation. We love Mary as she is an EXCELLENT mom with easy birthing, great attentiveness to her cria and milk aplenty. Mary presented a knock out medium fawn male sired by our own PJA Golden Victory's Kiowa on Sept 2, 2016. She presented us with Lady Felina in April 2012 from our own Adonnis' Altitude NS and RRoyal American Freedom in June 2013 from Snowmass RRoyal Stars. We are pleased with both of these lovely offspring! Mary has given us yet another beautiful daughter sired by NeverSummer's Manchester. Little Marnie arrive on a summer Sunday morning in July 2014 about 9:30 and we are very pleased with what this pairing produced. Mary is wowing us again by presenting PJA Western Sky! 7/13/15 Mary gave birth to a very nice looking male sired by NeverSummer's Manchester (full brother to PJA Miss Marnie) September 2016 Mary has given us an amazing medium fawn male sired by our own PJA Kiowa, dense, great head, solid structure. welcome PJA Kiowa's Raider. Cria not included in sale price. Mary comes with a breeding to any of our un restricted herdsires.
