She knows her job and she does it well. She is an easy breeder and maintains her pregnancies. Her births have been unassisted and her cria are strong from the get-go. She is attentive, produces abundant milk and maintains her weight while her cria gain at a steady pace. "Gabby" passes on her quiet disposition to her cria.
PHENOTYPE: Other than her big expressive eyes and striking white accents, Gabby probably won't turn many heads. She is an average girl, with average fleece. Her conformation is balanced and strong. Like those of us getting a older, she is getting a little gray.
GENOTYPE: "Gabby's" pedigree isn't filled with a lot of well-knowns. However, she must have something going on somewhere because she throws really nice cria.
TEMPERAMENT: Sweet, sweet, sweet. Easy to handle, easy to work with...(even without a halter). She will melt your heart with her big brown eyes
BRED TO: Gabriella is open and comes with two complimentary breedbacks (for her or any of your females) to any Alpacas of Somerset Farm herdsire.
The asking price for Gabby reflects her age, not the quality of the cria she produces. She still has many years of production ahead of her.

GENETICS: "Latte's" dam Paradise Ridge Chaccuna (ARI: 832574), is a 5Peruvian Chaccu daughter and a Vengador granddaughter.
"Latte's" sire PHA Maximus (ARI: 830927) is full Peruvian (3/4 Accoyo) Max is a white Camilio son, and his dam is Peruvian Duchess a multiple Produce of Dam winner by Accoyo El Moustachio.
PHENOTYPE: Although "Latte" is not a large male, he is solid and well balanced with a proud carriage and presence. He has a beautiful "typey" head. Although we don't consider it a flaw others might, so we need to mention that "Latte" carries a quarter-size rose gray spot in his blanket.
TEMPERAMENT: We believe temperament is highly inheritable and have no concerns about the temperament "Latte's" offspring could inherit from him. He is quiet and easy to handle. Someone who handled him in the show ring for us commented that they would like an entire herd with his temperament.

Description
Let's start with temperament. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then take a look at the pictures of this girl interacting with children. "Izzy" is friendly (not assertive or aggressive) and extremely gentle...especially with children.
Conformationally correct with a balance framed. Great head to toe coverage with exceptional staple length and good density.
Izzy inherited the maternal traits of her dam Gabriella. These traits include: easy breeder, unassisted births, abundance of milk, maintaining weight during nursing, and all-around good mom! BONUS: Izzy will nurse crias other than her own. This is an extremely valuable trait in a production dam.
Take a look at the last picture. We do not let this happen when we can help it. The "milk thieves" know Izzy's cafe is always open.
Izzy's 2010 TB male cria was sired by our herdsire Eastwind's Blade. Blade's fleece characteristics bring density, nice architecture a soft handle, and good staple length...all are expressed in their cria. UPDATE: Izzy's 2011 TB male cria, Blade Runner's histogram results are phenomenal for a TRUE BLACK AFD 19.6, SD 4.2, CV 21.5, %>30u 1.2.
Izzy's 2011 medium fawn male cria by Eastwind's Blade looks to be another phenomenal male from the Izzy/Eastwind's Blade pairing.
It has been proven, when bred to a male with proven lingering fineness, Izzy is a great "breed up" female.
