832574<--ari-->Beige<--color-->The sire of multiple champions, Chaccu is extremely dense, yet fine, with tight uniform crimp. He is from the Puno region of Peru. His genetics are rare as he came from a state owned breeding program that does not release many alpacas for exportation. Chaccu won Get-of-Sire at the AOBA national Show in 2001. This is a male who produces numerous color champions! <--description-->

							Description
RIP Sweet Chaccuna. You are the one that started it all for us.
THE GRAND DAM
Chaccuna is the one that really jump started our light breeding program. Her direct descendants carry the same density and lingering fineness she possesses. Also, all their bites have maintained their perfection through the years.
GENETICS: Chaccuna is a 5Peruvian Chaccu daughter and PPeruvian Vengador granddaughter.
MEASURABLE FLEECE QUALITIES: This is where Chaccuna excels and what keeps her at the top of our Huacaya foundation female list. Talk about lingering fineness. At 12 years old her histogram results are note worthy: AFD 25.8, SD 4.9, CV 18.8 , SF 24.7, %>30 15.
Let' see, has this carried through to her progeny? I would say so....
Here are the results for Chaccuna's beige son (ChaccuLatte) at age seven. He is standing stud at our ranch:

Do these great traits coming down from Chaccuna pass through her offspring? The answer is yes.
Here are the "stats" for Latte's offspring:

Latte's 2010 white female "Latte's Kizmet" is an absolute knock-out. Her fleece is exhibiting all of Latte's positive characteristics...high frequency and amplitude and dense with tight bundling. Her 2011 histogram report: AFD 17.6, SD 4.6, CV 25.9, %>30u 1.5
Latte's 2012 light fawn male is the "spitten image" of his sire. Absolutely gorgeous fiber...fine, high frequency and amplitude with tight bundling.
