1/2 INTEREST FOR SALE! Wow! We love this guy. Andean Gold is the offspring of our Multiple Champion Tell Vaccoyo's Secret who is from the well known Victor's Vaccoyo! Andean is of medium build, has a very full fleeced head and shorter muzzle. His fleece is superb with dense, rich fiber that has a fine handle and consistent bold crimp throughout. His coverage is unbelievably complete from head to fetlock. Andean is just a perfect example of an alpaca that has it all, and the judges agree awarding him 13 blue ribbons and 8 banners. In fact he took the first AFCNA fleece award at the 2006 AOBA national show beating out younger and lighter colored fleeces. He also won the color champion at the 2007 Buckeye show at 5 years of age and as a grand finally to his show career he took the brown champion and the judges choice award at the 2011 Buckeye show at almost 9 years of age. Now let talk about production, Andean has also produced cria’s in every color from white to black and everything in between (even grey). He has also produced multiple champions, including 10 time champion Sunset Hills Golden Thunder who was one of the top sellers at the 2011 AOBA national auction. So no matter the color or the background of your Dam, let Andean Gold produce a winner for you. Call us today or see Andean and his offspring at Sunset Hills Farm. We'd love to have you visit!

Cointreau Daughter!

MY Peruvian Jillian

HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 833891DOB: 3/6/200223 yrs
Peruvian Jillian, is a beautful light fawn female with coverage from her head to fetlocks with fine crimp and beautiful bundles of fleece. She has a lovely pheonotype which she inherits from her Dam, Peruvian Juliette(A Ruffo daughter. Ruffo was sold to Australia.) and her Sire, Peruvain Cointreau who was unfortunately lost to the Land O'Lakes incident after siring only 5 offspring. Cointreau had won Color Championships in both halter and fleece in four shows just before his death. Cointreau was the son of Accoyo Peruvian Augusto another Champion producer and also no longer with us, who sold for a record $226,000 dollars to Five Star Alpacas, LLC, in 2000. Peruvian Jillian is the sister to both Peruvian Justice and Montrachet both halter Champions. Peruvian Jillian is a multi blue ribbon winner in both fleece and halter, wining her prestigious 1st place ribbon for fleece at the MAPACA Fleece Show in 2005. Jillian has given us awesome ribbon winning offspring, Sunset Hills Zeph's Zaire, Sunset Hills Confluence, Sunset HIlls Midas Touch and Sunset Hills Lucaya. Jillian is now being bred to Sunset HIlls Andean Gold who has won numerous Color Championships in both halter and fleece (the AFCNA Spirit fo the Fiber Industry Award over all other color groups including white!) and was in the show ring up to age 3.5 years, if you could imagine this! Sunset Hills Andean Gold has given us and our customers many, many Blue ribbon and Color Championship offspring! The melding of these genes should be incredible!
