Olimpia is a very pretty girl with great conformation and high luster fleece. She's a blue ribbon winner, a proven production female, and a good alpaca mom. She's bred to Sandoval, a ribbon-winner TB proven sire with Fuego, Prince of Ghirardelli, Uribe, Kobe, and Meteor in his pedigree. In 2008 she produced a very good looking MF male out of Pacific Pride. In July 2009 she produced an outstanding female out of Corneliani of PVA with pearl locks to the skin and high luster. 'Velveteen's Bristol-Cream' won 2nd Place at the 2010 International Alpaca Odyssey in her halter class, and 1st place at 2010 AlpacaMania. On 9/20/2010 Olimpia produced a medium fawn male out of Corneliani of PVA. We are so pleased with her production we bred her to yet another outstanding outside stud – Sierra Bonita's Peruvian Zapotta. He's medium fawn and won 1st place at AOBA Nationals in 2009. Olimpia delivered a light fawn male cria out of Zapotta 9/10/11; he looks very promising. He's healthy, straight and has fine, lustrous fleece. Great looking top knot and beard are coming in on this young animal.

Description

Butterfield Blues looks like he's going to be made of muscle and very dense fiber, much like his sire. He's got that gorgeous "all-over" gold color of medium fawn. Consistent color; no white. Straight, strong and healthy. Fleece is really dense and beautiful. This young male has the type of fleece coming in that will be 'ropey' when he grows up. He is covered, dripping with great fiber. You can buy this young male for a song. Phenotype and genotype say "give him a whirl."
