Stanley is the best alpaca on our farm bar none. Stanley's offspring are quickly making their presence felt in the show ring. Encore Alpacas Stanley daughter, Maya took First and Color Champion at the Indiana Invitational in Black! Lord Stanley is a 6X Color Champion and our signature herdsire. This Get of Sire winner has now produced Color Champions in 6 different Colors- White, Light, Fawn, Brown, Black and Multi. He is now only missing a grey color champion and he will have each and every color covered. His daughter Mirage has already won 8 Color Championships including an impressive Fawn Color Champion win at the Indiana Invitational Show (level V). His cria crop this year includes everything from white to black and we are hoping for a repeat performance in the ring this year. Stanley capped off his stellar show career with a First and Color Championship for fleece at MAPACA. In another notable performance at OABA, Stanley got the nod over his 1/2 brother who also has 6 Color Championships. Isn't sibling rivalry great? Stanley has inherited brightness, uniformity and a high frequency crimp from his sire, Conan, a nationally known herdsire that has recently passed. Currently Stanley has over 50 cria on the ground with more than a dozen on the way. He has produced an amazing number of champions relative to the number of cria on the ground. So far he has produced from white to black and a couple of multi's. He has tree trunks for legs and recently tipped the scales at 234 Lbs. To top it off he has a black face and black points. He even threw 2 blacks from white females. Stanley just sheared a remarkable 13.5 Lbs and is now available for moblie breeding.

Appaloosa

Wind Crest Carme

HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Fawn, Dark Fawn
AOA# 31626767DOB: 10/7/200816 yrs
Carme appears to be a medium fawn girl with spots of every shade of fawn, brown and black--the typical, but rather rare, appaloosa. When you examine her fiber, you can see gray fibers throughout her entire body. Her face has the characteristic spots that identify the colorful appies. And not only does Carme have unique fleece colors, her histogram reveals outstanding fiber characteristics with an AFD of 18.18, an SD of 3.33 and a CF of 99.71%. What nice yarn her fiber produces! Carme offers strong genetics, including SA Peruvian Black Epic on her sire's side and Pperuvian Felix on her dam's side. Carme's present mate is FPA Abacus, a handsome, dark fawn herdsire with great fleece character. This pair should produce an exceptional cria, and hopefully one with lots of spots.

Description

What a georgeous alpaca! Her dark fawn fiber is very dense and crimpy - and you can see and feel the crimp from head to toe! Her histogram spells it out: AFD of 16.75, SD of 3.53, CV of 21, and CF of 100%. It can't feel any better! Imagine a Rhea sweater on a blustery, fall day! Rhea's sire, Peruvian Lord Stanley, did well in the show ring - including six Color Championships, two times Get of Sire, Best in Show and Judge's Choice. Rhea's dam, Wind Crest Carme, though not shown, is no slacker in the fiber department. Take a look at the histogram numbers in Enchanted Hill's "bred females" listings. Looking at Rhea's fiber, it appears she will follow in her sire's and dam's footsteps. Rhea will be bred to either Vintage Peruvian Confetti or Queen B Bodacious, with the hopes of producing an outstanding, wildly-spotted appaloosa with the fiber characteristics of Rhea. If interested in purchasing Rhea, give us a call, send a deposit, and we'll let you pick her mate, and then keep her until her pregnancy is confirmed by ultrasound.
