And wouldn't you know it, in a class of more than 30 young white males at the first Peruvian Futurity in Scottsdale, AZ, Maggie Krieger, Julio Sumar and Jodie Sleeper placed him first and awarded him age and color championships. El Bello has an important place in our breeding scheme because he is a combination of Accoyo and Hemingway genetics. His dam Accoyo Julia is extremely dense and just 23.4 microns at 7 years old. El Bello expresses that density and his fleece exhibits exceptional brightness and consistency of crimp and staple over his entire body. He has over 100 offspring on the ground. El Bello passes on wonderfull characteristics to his cria. They are all heavy boned with dense, crimpy coverage from head to toe.
