Full Peruvian, Magnifico daughter!
Prima's Dream of Peru 03
Alpaca, Suri, Open (Female) | Bay Black
AOA #849060 | DOB: 9/28/2003 (21 yrs)
Sire: 4Peruvian Magnifico
849060<--ari-->dark rose grey<--color-->Imported in 1995, Magnifico was a striking herdsire who needs no introduction to anyone looking at color genetics. His ability to produce quality, size, stretch and unique color remains unquestionable. He passed away in 2003, leaving a colorful legacy that includes highly regarded herdsires such as Black Chip who sold at The Private Collection Auction for $103,000.00.....WRSR Peruvian Doc Riley, SA Peruvian Grayfiti, Mucho Romantico and Jax Rum Runner. His daughters grace the pastures of some of the most notable farms in the U.S. and are rarely found on a sales list.
Stellar color genetics!<--description-->
Dam: Prima Rosa de Pesa
849060<--ari-->dark rose grey<--color-->Dream's dam is a rare, dark silver (although her registration indicates she is dark rose grey) by 4Peruvian Meteor. Meteor is the sire of Cantano of Peru who sold for $265,000.00. Prima Rosa de Pesa's dam is by the grand Peruvian Fuego, sire of the famed, PVA Mahogany Prince.
Elite color genetics.<--description-->
Service Sire: Crown Royales White Knight
849060<--ari-->White<--color-->* Crown Royale’s White Knight (a.k.a. “Lance”) is a phenomenal white full Peruvian, ½ Accoyo male.
* Possesses a tremendous amount of density, bone and luster and is passing it on to his cria! In 2005, we had to shear Lance twice - once in April and again in July. Scored 15 out of 15 on weight in the 2008 suri network fleece show with a 24 micron fleece at 6 years and 5 months with a blanket weight of 6.76 lbs.
* In 2007 his fleece grew at .42 mm/day.
* In 2008 his fleece grew at .40 mm/day.
* A superior fleece is considered anything in excess of .4 mm/day on a 2-3 year old.
* Fiber stats for 2004 at age 2years and 6 months are FD 19.6 SD 4.1 CV 20.9.
* Fiber stats for 2007 at age 5years and 5 months are FD 23.6 SD 4.9 CV 20.7.
* Fiber stats for 2008 at age 6years and 5 months are FD 24.5 SD 4.9 CV 20.1.
* Tested at 5 years and 5 months of age, he has 41.6 follicles per square mm with a 10.8 S/P ratio. Only 3.7 micron between the secondary and primary fibers. Ian Watts stated "You have hit the jackpot with this one! The way the primary follicles sit inside the histogram of the secondaries is closer to a merino sheep than anything I have seen anywhere in alpacas! Congratulations!!"
* Lance possesses the soft rolling skin and he is passing this trait along to his progeny.
* Lance has never finished lower than 4th and he showed in the largest shows in the country - AOBA, Futurity, Mapaca, Ky Classic, Alpaca Fest and Suri Network Fleece.
* In Suri Network Fleece Show, his fleece continues to beat fleece from animals almost 3 years younger.
* At the age of 5.5 he finished first at the 2007 Suri Network Fleece Show beating the 2006 Futurity, 2006 MAPACA, and 2007 AOBA champion.<--description-->
Description
We originally purchased this stately, elegant girl for $49,000.00 and now offer her at this extraordinarily reduced price! Dream's average weight is 175 lbs. and Susan Tellez described her as an "extreme Suri" with good twist and independent lock in her fiber. Her conformation is flawless. She has produced 4 beautiful daughters and 1 son, a light brown, 1/2 Accoyo boy....with histogram stats.....17.2 microns, SD 4.4, CV 25.8, CF 98.3......SOLD!
Dream has proven to be an excellent mom and quality producing dam. Her stunning, silver grey, daughter, RFSS Silver Belle, by Jax Accoyo Kalvin, was high selling Suri female at the 2007 Futurity Auction selling for $49,000.00. She contributes size, balanced conformation and lots of color to her offspring even when bred to lighter colored herdsires.
Magnifico's genetics are found on some of North America's most successful farms, particularly those specializing in color. His 36 daughters have produced such striking offspring as SBS Surius Black, Juan Spectacular Guy and Jax Black Smoke. Sons such as Black Chip who sold at The Private Collection Auction for $103,000.00, WRSR Peruvian Doc Riley, SA Peruvian Grayfiti, Mucho Romantico and Jax Rum Runner carry on Magnifico's colorful legacy!
On 11/8/11, Dream produced yet another beautiful, medium fawn, daughter .....this time by ATC Accoyo Gold Nugget.
Dream can be bred to Crown Royales White Knight. Take a look at the cria her daughter, Spirit, produced by White Knight and you will see why we suggest breeding Dream to this herdsire.
If you are focused on a color program, please do take a close look at Dream of Peru. Can be seen at Wombat Farm in Georgetown, KY (Lexington). Price does not reflect the quality and production value of this dam. She is a steal at this price!
