Alpaca, Huacaya, Open (Female) | White
AOA #1424430 | DOB: 12/20/2005 (19 yrs)
Sire: Acero Marka's Royal Icing
1424430<--ari-->White<--color-->
Dam: Llama Lan’s Streaker
1424430<--ari-->True Black<--color-->She is definitely the alpha in our herd, and very self-sufficient. She had wonderful fiber in her day, but at her age it is hard to tell much. What you can tell is she has incredibly soft fiber with a great handle for her age. She usually gets pregnant in one shot. Even at her age it only takes one time to get her pregnant. She is a great mom with lots of milk and very attentive to her young.
Streaker has shown when bred well she is an outstanding producer. One her offspring, Sir Carole never left the ring without a ribbon. He now works as stud for another farm. Beauty, one of her cria is really nice. We love her look, the way she is put together. Streaker also produced the first daughter of our Reserve Color Champion Alexander a full accoyo white male. As a cria she had high frequency and high amplitude crimp expressed in her dark fawn fleece. She weighed in at 20 lbs at birth. She will be someone to watch over the coming year. Her name is Little Blessings Prima Alexandria. These are just a few of her cria.<--description-->
Service Sire: Accoyo America Jeremiah
1424430<--ari-->White<--color-->Jeremiah is a very confident and enthusiastic breeder. He has several cria in utero for 2010 deliveries.
We purchased Jeremiah at the Parade of Champions auction in 2007. They described him as a testament to his sire's future prominence as a dominant North American herdsire. In addition to his striking head, frame and presence, he has a true elite fleece, with brilliance, fineness, micro bundling and density. They went on to say that he was going to be an outstanding herdsire.
As I was taking updated photos of him I was impressed with how grown up he looks compared to just 4 months ago. He has just great confirmation, so straight and correct. His fleece is fine with a great hand. His crimp is well defined and organized.
Jeremiah is one of Ulysses' first cria. Ulysses who you might ask? He is a full Accoyo, El Nino son who has won championships at both MAPACA and IAO. Jeremiah is a 3/4 Accoyo who has great genetics on his pedigree with El Nino and Caligula on his sire side and Camilio on his dams side. We have always been impressed with the animals from Accoyo America and to be able to own them for ourselves is an honor.
Density is something that we are now focusing in on in our breeding program. That is something that Accoyo America is known for along with their great genetics and fine crimpy fleeces. Jeremiah's shearing at just under a year of age yielded a 3.2 lb blanket. Not bad for a baby. His second blanket shorn at just under a year was 5 lbs.
Accoyo America no longer does outside breedings so purchasing jr. herdsires from there stock is the only way to get the genetics these days or by purchasing breedings from those of us who have made these purchases.<--description-->

Description
Beauty is a wonderful girl who is very nice to work with. She has produced well thus far. We anticipate great things from her. Her fineness comes from her dam. Her dam a black females who is still breeding and producing cria @ 18 had a micron of 24.4 w/a CV of 17.7 @ age 16. Did you notice I said she was black?
Beauty is a beauty, she was named before she came out and I couldn't have named her better had I seen her first. She has a nice frame, big boned and very straight. She has very bright white fleece with MF beauty marks just behind each eye. Her fleece has a nice crimp style with medium amplitude.
Beauty has had three cria thus far. The first was a solid DF and the second out of the same mating was a White w/DF appaloosa and the third was a solid white female. Beauty's dam is black with a splash of white and her sire is white so the possibilities seemed endless in terms of what colors she could produce. Her dam has produced everything from black to maroon and silver as well as white (Beauty). Our breeding decisions for Beauty has always revolved around improving fleece quality. As nice as Beauty is her fleece could use more amplitude and perhaps a higher frequency of crimp, this year we bred her to Accoyo America Jeremiah. She has nice brightness and luster. A soft handle and great staple length.
Beauty just delivered the first cria out of Jeremiah. He is birthed easily and I believe he will be considered a pinto, white and medium brown or dark fawn. He has a wonderful presence. He gets noticed when people come to visit
So, if you are looking for a sweet girl with lots of possibilities take a look at Beauty.
