HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 0030545021DOB: 4/21/200619 yrs
1 Color Championship, 3 Reserve Color Championships, and 10 Blue Ribbons... Legend wins 1st Place and COLOR CHAMPION in his first show at only 6.5 months old! Judge Tim Lavan said, "If you only see one fleece this weekend, THIS is THE ONE to see!" "So dense nothing gets past the tips of this fiber" "Elite fleece" Legend's second show at 7.5 months was the Carolina Classic where he took 1st in a class of 6. Judge Wade Gease said, "Hands down the finest fleece in the class...exquisite fleece...a MUST SEE fleece..." Then Legend went on to take the Reserve Color Championship and Judge Wade Gease turned him to the side to part his fleece for the crowd to see saying, "You MUST see this fleece." To understand his full Peruvian genetic back ground, take a look at his parentage. His sire, The Aga Khan, is a gorgeous 3/4 Accoyo white 11 time color champion with a breeding fee of $7,500! Legend's dam is a wonderful bay black, who's never been shown, out of the Drambuie Line who is listed on our sold page. This genetic combination makes Legend medium fawn with black recessive! With over 30 cria on the ground now we can safely say Legend is medium fawn with black recessive and his cria's colors have been white, beige, fawn, brown, black and several solid greys. We frequently do mobile breeding runs throughout the east coast so call today to see if we're going to be in your area.

Dam: Sadie Mae

3-n-1 Cria At Side

Sadie Mae

HuacayaBred (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 1115222DOB: 10/7/200420 yrs
Sadie Mae is one of those girls that stands out in a crowd. Her regal stance, her fineness, her crimpy brown fiber, and her curious personality combine together to make this female something special. Sadie's sire is out of the Remington and Peruvian Ringmaster lines. Her dam is out of the Silversmith line and is considered the "back up plan" at her farm for any crias with nursing issues. She is a fantastic mother and we fully expected Sadie to follow in her footsteps... Sadie is just like her mom...Not only did this maiden give birth effortlessly but the cria practically walked right out of her. She had an abundance of milk and allowed another cria to nurse too! Her 2007 son, Max, doubled his birth weight in 17 days despite sharing his milk supply with another cria!!! That makes Sadie PRICELESS! Sadie gave birth on 1/5/09 to the first female cria out of Amerikhan Legend - our 10X Blue Ribbon winner. The cria's name is The Great Amerikhan Dream! Her 2010 cria by Legend is Amerikhan Justice and he's pictured on the right. Sadie was bred to Marathon's Dynomite, our mulitple ribbon winning solid DSG male. Sadie delivered a gorgeous brown male on 5/14/11. He was up and nursing without issue. He weighted 17 lb 11 oz and has an abundance of fiber - even covering his feet! I'm working on getting some fiber pics to post because his fiber is so shiny it appears wet and he's already got very crimpy fiber. Sadie's price includes her new cria and she's due for another Dynomite cria Spring of 2012.

Description

Please excuse the orange tint to Justice's fiber... we have orange clay here and it's impossible to keep them from rolling in it. Mada Vemi's Amerikhan Justice is a large framed beige male. His picture on the right was taken at less than 24 hours old and he's visiting with his new best friend Amerikhan Pride. It's very difficult to get a picture of Justice without Pride in the same photo. I'm very impressed with the brightness and crimp he's showing. He has nice character to his fleece with small independent bundles. I can't wait to see this young male grow up and he's been doing that by leaps and bounds. He's currently a year old and he's a good sized young man. If you take a look at the group photos you see Justice standing between Pride and Jack. Pride is the same age as Justice but Jack is a year older. Notice Justice is taller than both? I expect this male to be a large framed male by the time he reaches breeding age. I've just recently spun up Justice's fleece and it's just wonderful! If you look at my recent blog entries you'll see some gorgeous blends I have created with his fleece. It spins like a dream and it's very lofty. I own Justice's 1/2 brother (dam's side), his full sister, his mother, and his sire. Since I own several sons of Mada Vemi's Amerikhan Legend I've cut their prices to move some related boys off the farm. Owning their sire, their dam, and being a small farm limits the number of male offspring I can use here and we've had an abundant male cria streak going the last 7 years! Take advantage of my limited room to add some new genetics to your farm! Give me a call today to figure out a way to put this male to work on your farm.
