1 Color Championship, 3 Reserve Color Championships, and 10 Blue Ribbons... Legend wins 1st Place and COLOR CHAMPION in his first show at only 6.5 months old! Judge Tim Lavan said, "If you only see one fleece this weekend, THIS is THE ONE to see!" "So dense nothing gets past the tips of this fiber" "Elite fleece" Legend's second show at 7.5 months was the Carolina Classic where he took 1st in a class of 6. Judge Wade Gease said, "Hands down the finest fleece in the class...exquisite fleece...a MUST SEE fleece..." Then Legend went on to take the Reserve Color Championship and Judge Wade Gease turned him to the side to part his fleece for the crowd to see saying, "You MUST see this fleece." To understand his full Peruvian genetic back ground, take a look at his parentage. His sire, The Aga Khan, is a gorgeous 3/4 Accoyo white 11 time color champion with a breeding fee of $7,500! Legend's dam is a wonderful bay black, who's never been shown, out of the Drambuie Line who is listed on our sold page. This genetic combination makes Legend medium fawn with black recessive! With over 30 cria on the ground now we can safely say Legend is medium fawn with black recessive and his cria's colors have been white, beige, fawn, brown, black and several solid greys. We frequently do mobile breeding runs throughout the east coast so call today to see if we're going to be in your area.

Dixie is a proven female with good mothering instincts and plenty of milk. She was bred in May '09 to Mada Vemi's Amerikhan Legend but the vet ultrasounded her not pregnant. In this case the vet was incorrect and Dixie produced a dark fawn male, Tribute, as proof. Dixie is an excellent proven mother with a track record of good milk production and great mothering instincts for her cria. She is one of the few alpacas that I've seen actually lick their newborn cria. We held Dixie open, along with most of our other girls, until this fall for breeding. She has been bred to our FULL ACCOYO blue ribbon winning herdsire, Mary's Accoyo Quasar, for an October 2011 due date.

Description

Tribute is in the middle of a growth spurt at the moment and he's just turned a year old. He's got nice crimp, good density, and his fleece is bright and consistant. Since I own several sons of Mada Vemi's Amerikhan Legend I've severely cut their prices to move some boys off the farm becauase I have to make room for the 2011 cria. Owning their sire, their dam, and being a small farm limits the number of male offspring I can use here and we've had an abundant male cria streak going the last 7 years! Take advantage of my limited room to add some new genetics to your farm! Give me a call today to figure out a way to put this male to work on your farm.
