Just a touch of moonlight on her chin...
Blue Star's Cynthia
HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 30389465DOB: 8/22/200816 yrs
Cynthia is a lovely true black female with a patch of white on her chin plus her front left leg. Out of our never-fail true black producing female, Ladee Lace, she was sired by NZ Maori Magic, also true black. Maori has been called the most under-utilized true black herdsire in the Northeast. Cynthia's white patches are the mark of Maori.
Cynthia's fleece is fairly dense with good coverage & uniformity front to back. Her fiber shows a good hand & fineness for her age. She is heavy-boned with a perfect bite.
In the summer of 2011, she single-handedly delivered Blue Star Alpaca's Natalie, sired by MAPACA 2010 Herdsire of the Year, Peruvian Lancaster. This is where Cynthia proved she is our Ladee Lace's daughter...when bred to a beige herdsire, Cynthia, just like Lacee before her, delivered a true black cria. With no white markings, either! She is a great Mom, very attentive with plenty of milk. And very eager to breed again!
Cynthia has an easy-going personality & is easy to handle. She would make an excellent production female with a strong tendency toward true black offspring.
