Cochise, a full Peruvian, half Accoyo male, was undefeated during his career on the show circuit, winning four Level IV and V Color Championship banners including the AOBA National, IAO (two years running), MAPACA and AWE. Upon learning that Sandollar Alpacas had acquired Cochise, Amanda VandenBosch, AOBA's premier showring judge, stated "he is an absolutely stunning animal!" Cochise is a product of Pacific Crest's Accoyo America breeding program and he went on to become the dominant fawn suri herdsire in Pacific Crest's stable. He carries the genetics of the Accoyo Bruxo line through his sire Helios, and the Uribe and Augustina lines through his dam, Peruvian Gracie. What a combination! The result is one of the highest qualify fleeces, exhibiting the fineness, luster, and independent loch structure to the skin we all strive for. His progeny are already winning championships in the show ring; most recently, for example one of his male offspring, Accoyo America Liberty, took the fawn Color Championship in his first show at the 2009 Alpaca Western Extravaganza while his sister was doing the same in her class!
