We are proud to offer Canzelle's Zambezi as a premier black herdsire. His geneology is stupendous: his maternal grandsire is the famous Sinopsis Nocturna and his paternal grandsire is the renowned Danko. Incredible genes and 3 generations of black and grey! Zambezi is sculpted in black, his conformation flawless. His extremely dense fiber carries tight, high amplitude crimp from his topknot to his toes. His calm personality makes him easy to handle and he is an enthusiastic but gentle breeder Zambezi has won top honors at every show entered, including Black Color Champion at MAPACA 2004 over 98 other blacks and Black Color Champion at OABA AlpacaFest 2004. A truly superior young male, Zambezi settled his first female at 21 months and is now an active herdsire in our breeding program. Zambezi's first crias are on the ground, all beautiful and full of color! He has thrown black when bred to black, grey when bred to grey, and fawn bred to white. Check out his progeny. The quality of his conformation, type, and fleece all reflect the outstanding alpacas in his pedigree. And he has an easy going temperament to make him the complete package. Winchester’s Sire – Canzelle’s Zambezi: Zambezi is top, top drawer. Canzelle's Zambezi has presence that stops people in their tracks. He has very dense, crimpy fleece with extreme coverage from top knot to toe. His conformation is breathtaking: solid bone, beautiful topline, pleasing head, and regal carriage. True ("blue") black himself, Zambezi represents the third generation of all true black or grey genetics. Impeccable lineage, too--both a Danko and Sinopsis Nocturna grandson!??Zambezi made a big impression in the show ring, winning the Black Color Championship at two Level V shows--MAPACA (over more than 90 other black males) and the OABA Alpacafest--and seven blue ribbons.??Zambezi now has more than 73 registered crias on the ground--the quality is exceptional. For example, his first cria, Calidad Carnelian, took a blue ribbon at the Empire Extravaganza and Reserve Champion at the Green Mountain show. Three of his true black daughters took first, second, and third places in juvie classes of 15 alpacas at the North American Alpaca Show. His daughter Calidad Wicked Good took a 2nd place at the Futurity, and Calidad Black Sable took a 2nd place at the AOBA nationals.??Out of 19 black dams, he produced 18 black crias.
