WOW oh WOW...Derwydd is stunned and proud to announce that Chaska is the SIRE of IAO Supreme Male Suri 2012. And if that were not enough.. also sire of IAO Spinners Dream Suri (Cottage Best in Show) 2012. AND the following IAO Champions: IAO Bright White Color Champion Male Commercial; IAO Light Color Champion Female - Cottage; IAO Medium Color Champion Male Cottage; IAO Suri Processing Length Champion Male; IAO Fawn Color Champion - Commercial Fleece. IAO 2011 - Sire of the Supreme Champion Fleece Suri! IAO 2010 - WINNER of the Supreme Champion Fleece Suri!! He killed em at IAO! FULL ACCOYO! FAWN!! 7 TIME Champion/Reserve 19 1st Place Awards! We are absolutely certain that Chaska will become one of California’s famous Accoyo Macho’s - producing fine fibered, locked to the skin & VERY lustrous, solid boned crias. Overall this male is excellent! He is a strong male with excellent substance of bone. Perfect Bite. Luster to burn. Locked to the skin in his first fleece AND his second fleece(he won 2 of his 7 championship in his SECOND fleece AND SUPREME FLEECE IAO in his THIRD fleece) He is true to type thru his head and overall proportions, exhibiting fineness, LUSTER, uniformity of character throughout the blanket and excellent density for fineness (see his 08 skin biopsy below!) We expect his progeny to exhibit the same excellent characteristics. Chaska’s dam, Accoyo Suri Princess has produced champion cria after champion cria (5). His sire Bruxo has had the same impact on the American Suri Herd that Caligula has had on the American Huacaya herd – one only has to observe their sons. He has a PROVEN pedigree. True Herdsire prospect! 2008 Skin Biopsy (Watt) at 33 months: Follicle Density 50.2 - Secondary to Primary Ratio 11.9:1 Herdsire Fiber Data (DOB 2006) 2007: AFD = 17.3 S.D = 3.6 CV = 20.9 %>30 = 0.0 SL = 150mm Growth = 410 days Total Shear Weight not measured 2008: AFD = 23.9 S.D = 4.8 CV = 22.0 %>30 = 2.9 SL = 170mm Growth = 407 days Total Shear Weight 10.4 lbs annualized 2010:P AFD = 26.9 S.D = 6.0 CV = 26.5 %>30 = 17.1 SL = 136.8mm Growth = 307 days Total Shear Weight 14.8 lbs annualized!!!

ARE YOU SERIOUS ABOUT EPDs

Our Accoyo's Mayflower

SuriOpen (Female)White
AOA# 807114DOB: 6/2/200321 yrs
Are YOU serious about EPDs? About proof in the production? Well CHECK out these NUMBERS. Mayflowers 2014 EPDS AFD top 2% SDAFD top 4% SF top 1% %f>30 top 1% %M top 1% and get this RANK 5 out of 7273 female suri alpacas MSL top 3% FW top 27% ** ah this trait could be improved on.. well.. lets see if we can... PRETTY DANG GOOD all but ONE of her EPDs are in the top 4% of the national herd. SO the question begs, can she be improved in that one trait without losing on the other traits.. and is it generational? HA! Her Kahuna daughter Engagement: AFD top 3% SDAFD top 6% SF top 2% %f>30 top 2% %M top 1% MSL top 2% FW top 1% YUP see that Fleece Weight now up in the top 1% without a much of a slide in her other EPDS.. BUT it gets BETTER! Here is a GRANDSON Satin's Knight out of another Mayflower daughter (White Satin) and Rockstar. AFD top 3% SDAFD top 6% SF top 2% %f>30 top 3% %M top 1% MSL top 2% FW top 3% YOU COULD PRODUCE OFFSPRING JUST LIKE THIS!!! I mean how often do you find alpacas that are in the top 6% or better IN ALL THEIR TRAITS?? Mayflower was specifically selected to bring fresh genetics to the West Coast. Her sire is Camion, a name not often seen offered here, and her dam boasts unique genes of her own, including 4P Papacito. And with a bit of Torbio to round out the pedigree. Most impressive. And with those EPD stats - THIS IS A FOUNDATION DAM. And picking the right herdsire for her is VERY IMPORTANT! We are keeping 2 daughters in our foundation herd (White Satin & Engagement), we are keeping one grandson in our foundation herd (Accoyo Knight).. hmmm might YOU like to produce some offspring that are good enough for YOUR foundation herd? Priced to move! Ready to breed.

Have you ever just lusted after a male since he was a juvie? WE HAVE! Have you ever watched his every move in the show ring and wished you had one just like him? WE HAVE! We always say when opportunity knocks, open the door........well we practically broke it off its hinges! Scott and I are so excited to introduce our newest herdsire to our stud row... "BLUEGRASS PERUVIAN RHYTHM & BLUES", ARI#31364645. We thank Heart and Soul Alpacas & Spinnery for allowing us to Co-Own this beautiful male with them . He will bring such depth to our colored herd. You cannot get any blacker than this male. His black locks drip with luster while holding their structure year after year. He has a very "typey" and proportionate frame as well as a lovely head and ear set. His conformation is perfect and his bite is flawless. The Judges agree as evidence of his phenomenal show record. Unfortunately Blues missed his yearling year of showing do to his owners death, we are remiss about this as he was sure to have taken it by storm. Blues already has champion cria in a variety of dark colors predominately black. Description

June Bug is an awesome accoyo foundation female, boasting a host of Accoyo Powerhouses in her pedigree including Bruxo, Uribe, Camion, Torbio!! WOW.. She has a well balanced frame, good solidity of lock, great relocking, good luster, fairly fine! She threw us an AWESOME Kahuna granddaughter that we lost at 3 months of age - so we know she can knock it out of the park with her offspring..... SO... Scott & Laurie Findlay have been doing some wonderfull things with their BLUECOYO lines, where they are crossing some pretty nice accoyo females over Bluegrass Peruvian Rythym & Blues for some STUNNING colored cria that carry all that Accoyo bone and density.. WOW... June Bugs granddam Accoyo Suri Princess threw us a true black female.. hmmm so she carries black in her pedigree, so I want on the BLUECOYO BANDWAGON!!! Can't WAIT to see this cria.
