Description

Chromeo is an outstanding male being a third generation color champion out of grey lines! He has proven himself in both halter shows and at the very competitive 2015 AOA National fleece show. When this male first came to our farm to show at just six months old we fell in love with him. He was such a gorgeous color. The best way to describe his blanket is liquid silver. All our farm visitors fell in love with him as well. Chromeo is a harlequin modern grey with very uniform color in his blanket. Chromeo has perfect conformation on a slightly stretchy frame. He has a perfect top line and a handsome suri head. His fleece is packed with heavy dripping locks filled with fine fleece and loaded with luster. His locks were naturally very independent, like grey ice cycles. Judges commented on the amount of density overall and density and fineness within his individual locks. Chromeo comes by all this from a great grey breeding program. He is a Yodi grandson, which is a rare grey line outside of Wildlife Ranch Suri Alpacas. Both parents are champions and Chromeo himself is a third generation champion from all grey lines! His dam Yodi's Freckles is a consistent producer of only grey having four grey offspring. The match between SBS Smokey and Freckles always produces modern silver grey! SBS Smokey himself is a great producer of harlequin grey. We are sure that Chromeo will carry on these fantastic genetics and produce grey for us. Chromeo is quite the ladies man and has settled several females right after ending his halter shows!
