"Tica" was our first female alpaca, purchased at auction from Alpacas of America as a maiden. We were an Ohio-based farm and wanted to introduce west coast genetics to the Ohio suri gene pool. She remained in Washington until her pregnancy by 4Peruvian Meteor 6050 was well established. On her trip across country, we were offered $65,000.00 for her, but in the old days, we believed she would bring us greater fortune on our farm; so home she came. Her head shot is used in our logo and she is now the Grand Dam of our herd. As you can see in her photos, Tica - even in 2003 - had a very dense, lustrous, and consistent fleece. Her blanket's first shearing weighed over 8 pounds! Her fleece production remains consistently above average over the years and, while microns may have increase a bit, her handle remains cool to the touch and slick due to her consistency and close proximity of primary and secondary micron counts. She has passed this on to her offspring, with improvements also coming from each of the full Peruvian Champions we have bred her to. She typically throws the color of the herdsire. Two of her daughters and one of her sons are currently listed for sale: HVF Echo of the Sun, HVF Tiny Dancer, and HVF Quervo Gold, respectively. All have been shown and are blue-ribbon winners. Tica is an excellent dam, birthing on schedule with no complications. Even at her current age, Tica cushes faithfully, waiting for us to open the gate and let a herdsire come to call. Since we are not breeding any longer, we hope to find her a caring home who would appreciate a half Accoyo dam with an excellent track record who will sell at an attractive price to the right farm. Like all our females, Tica is currently open, not because of any limitation on her part, but because our travel schedules and limited vet support do not support a good cria watch or aftercare. She is a proven breeder. Purchase price does NOT include a pregnancy or breeding from Humm V Farm and Buyers should take that into consideration during their buying process. We do offer reduced pricing ($500) and live birth guarantees on breedings with any available Humm V Farm herdsires if the Buyer is interested, or you may choose another farm of your choice for a future breeding. Live birth guarantees are only honored by us for breedings with a Humm V Farm herdsire. We remain committed to support for new owners and to the success of Tica's pregnancy. We'll be there for you and for Tica, and trust she will be too. p.s. Tica has a deep friendship with her daughter HVF Tiny Dancer - one of the best females we have bred. Tiny Dancer is 5/8 Accoyo with Baron, Ramilo, and CV Peruvian Moses in her bloodline. She is a blue ribbon winner and is also for sale. If you are interested in purchasing both, our Sweetheart pricing deals will apply.

Description

Tiny Dancer is one of the loveliest suris on our farm and she sports the best genetics available to you from Humm V Farm. Her father CV Peruvian Moses is a 3/4 Accoyo with 5 Color Championships from the top shows in our country: the All American Futurity, AOBA Nationals, and MAPACA. He has passed his striking multi/pinto markings, stunning luster, pearled locks, and density throughout a consistent fleece to his proud daughter Tiny Dancer. Her grandsire full Accoyo Ramilo, a 25 time Get of Sire winner at all the top shows in our country, brings her strong bone, luster with density yet fineness, and proud stature even at 130 pounds. Tiny Dancer is 5/8 Accoyo. Tiny Dancer was gestating in her 1/2 Accoyo dam Simpatica La Peruviana during our surprise move from Ohio to Kansas in 2007. She was shown very little relative to her quality because we were pre-occupied getting the infrastructure of our new farm established in the midst of a very busy travel schedule for Don. She is open and unproven because we made the decision to stop breeding when the economy crashed and Don travelled. We expect she will be a wonderful breeder and mother, just as her dam was. I would suggest she be bred to a herdsire whose size complements her size. She comes with standard reproductive and live birth guarantees. We are selling all dams open and Buyer should understand that the sale and auction prices will reflect this. Breeding with available Humm V Farm males are available at reduced prices ($500) or the buyer can choose an outside breeding at their additional expense. Only breedings with HummV Farm males carry live birth guarantees consistent with industry practices. Tiny Dancer has a close friendship with her mother and we'd love it if a buyer would be interested in purchasing both. Sweetheart Deal pricing applies. Tint Dancer is a lovely girl whom we hate to part with, but she is more than ready to breed and needs a home that is actively engaged in the joy of criating the next generations of suris. We trust she will do you proud!
