But regardless of color - with Zeppelin it's ALL about the fleece quality - for example look at his daughter Tessla's fleece at lower right - she sold for $18,000 at auction, after being awarded CC, Best Brightness and Best Hand at the Alpacamania Fleece Show. Congratulations to Bari Padgett on her purchase of Deltana! Zeppelin's dad, Taos, a stunning Legacy son, had a 22.9 AFD at 7 yrs. Zeppelin's mom tested at 21.3 AFD at 7 years as well. Zeppelin also offers correct conformation, impressive presence, size, coverage, and substance of bone. His crimp, luster and dense lock structure are stunning - staple length is extreme. I know, I know - we do Color! But we couldn't help ourselves. Two reasons - 1) Check out this fleece - - - And it isn't just pretty, She has great fineness, And she has the fleece weight too. 2) Check out her pedigree - Her daddy is Black Pinot Noir - and mom, a Camillio daughter, is loaded with color too. How often do the winners of the best white classes have black daddies? I've seen it a time or two - and as we improve our colors it happens more and more frequently. This lady offers a level of fleece quality that I am extremely excited about combining with the likes of Zeppelin - for starters. ;^) Update - she just delivered a Gorgeous beige Zeppelin son - You will see him in the winner's circle! He is phenomenal - I can't keep my hands off of him. She will be bred back to Zeppelin for her 2013 cria - you can't have too many of these!
