Inquire about our Summer Breeding Special! EIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPS, including TWO AOBA NATIONAL CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP banners make JETSON the most WINNING Black Sire from the ROYAL FAWN line. JETSON'S Prepotency is being proven time and time again through his Cria! JETSON CRIA have hit the show ring with IMPACT, winning CHAMPIONSHIP BANNERS at the AOBA NATIONAL CONFERENCE, and other major shows. JETSON has an average density of 69.0 fibers per square millimeter. His SP Ratio is 15:1. His extremely high Secondary bundle count is also very consistent – again contributing to his HANDLE. These are great statistics for a Top White Herdsire, and virtually UNHEARD of in BLACK. JETSON has a HIGHLY DEVELOPED gland structure (Level 4) that contributes to his signature handle and brightness. This Gland Structure is a highly heritable trait. Jetson's Dam - MFI Vision is a Dakotia Daughter. Dakotia - now deceased has sired some of the top Alpacas still coming from the Magical Farms program including MFI Jericho. Vision is very dense and fine and has maintained her micron, handle and crimp year after year. JETSON has over 100 offspring on the ground - many COLOR CHAMPIONS. STF Sassafras

HuacayaBred (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 32002522DOB: 6/23/201014 yrs
STF Sassafras Represents all that is Elite in the Color Alpaca World. Her Sire - Snowmass XXXtreme is one of the most PREPOTENT colored studs to grace the Alpaca breeding world. XXXtreme's progeny are nothing short of spectacular. We were absolutely thrilled when STF Sassafras arrived - our first XXXtreme offspring! Her fiber is a consistent solid Meduim Brown, VERY FINE (See Histogram), has high frequency crimp, and is consistent from tail to head. She has won 9 COLOR CHAMPION Banners. Sassafras won the COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP at the Northeastern 2011. Judge Jude Anderson said: "I have a Juvenile female here in this championship position I would recommend you take a look at. Her fleece is very bright when you open it up, with excellent density and, uniformity in to the belly - not just of the style, but of the fineness across the blanket. She is a lovely package – excellent density.” Sassafras then won the Reserve CHAMPIONSHIP at PAOBA. Judge Ken Hibbits said: "She is really, really impressive - a fleece that opens up and pops when you break it open. She has great uniformity and great character, she is very correct. One thing you notice when you open it up it tends to break beautifully within all those staples, showing that fineness, showing that architecture, and that’s what we want. She’s not bad to look at either is she? She is a beautiful girl, perfectly conformed." Sassafras won Reserve CHAMPIONSHIP at Empire. Judge Jill MacLeod said: “What I really like about this girl is that she is very fine, very even, she has great uniformity in all respects – and that did her very well today. Even her primary fibers are very very fine throughout that fleece and I think this is the kind of fleece that will maintain fineness throughout a lifetime.” In awarding her the Championship at MAPACA, Judge Helen Humphries cited Sassafrass as the complete package, noting of her fineness, consistency and buttery soft - dreamy fleece. Sassafras is now a 10X CHAMPION - a truly Elite Alpaca. Her Son - SKYWALKER - is a Striking Fawn Male, having won 12 Color banners, and began breeding in 2018. He has produced multiple champions.

Proudly co-owned with Gray Alpaca Company and Faraway Farm. Orlando is back at Gray Alpaca Company, and his fall breeding fee is $3,500. At the October Empire Extravaganza in Syracuse, NY, his offspring won two CHAMPIONSHIPS, including Gray Championship in fleece, and a RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP, along with 4 Blue Ribbons. He continues to stamp out high quality crias. News! ORLANDO HAS JUST BEEN NAMED HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2013, FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW! This award is based on the number of points accrued by winning offspring at MAPACA, to date the largest show in 2013. Here is the new standard for grey! Orlando stands above the rest with his consistent, dense architecture from his tail to his topknot. The judges have raved about this male from the time he hit the show circuit, and his offspring are now following in his footsteps with multiple Championships and Reserve Championships. When bred to grey or black his cria's colors have been 100% grey or true black with the exception of one which was bay black. He has also shown the ability to throw grey out of fawn as we have seen many cria like this from this color pairing. Orlando's stud fee is $5,000, with generous discounts for drive by breedings. For details please contact Nancy at [email protected] or Jeff at [email protected]. Full disclosure always. Offspring Show Wins Update: Orlando offspring were first shown in 2008, and to date they have won over 80 Color Championships/ Reserve Championships, and over 160 Blue Ribbons! Description

Introducing the newest alpaca to my herd...STF Sofia I've been looking to add some darker genetics to my herd...so when I had the opportunity to purchase this beautiful little female, I jumped at the chance. Sofia has a Super-Fine Well Organized dense fleece along with great conformation. And what a tremendous genetic background. Sofia's Dam STF Sassafras is a 10X CC, and is carrying a 16 Micron Fleece at four years of age...Not bad for a brown production female. Her Sire is the pride & joy of Suragtown Farms...STF JETSON who is an 8X CC True Black Signature Sire and producer of multiple Champions. With a background like that how could you go wrong. Sofia's first time showing will be at the 2015 MAPACA show. A tough show to start out with, but I think she'll be up to the task!
