2016 AOA Judges Choice Fleece!!

KCF Isidoro

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 32736311DOB: 9/9/201212 yrs
KCF Isidoro is our Light Fawn superstar stud that shares the same dam as our 10 time Champion brown female, KCF Isla Saona, and multiple Champion white female, KCF INXS. All are products of WGA Isis by Nexxus, whom we purchased just before she entered the ring and won the Judges Choice competition at the 2009 Empire Extravaganza. Isis went on to win 8 championships for us, and needless to say, is a permanent fixture at Kendall Creek Farms. Isidoro’s sire is our very own multi-champion Captain Jack Sparrow. Jack is the sire of Champions in Gray, Black, Brown, Fawn, and Light color classifications; and has sired champions in every year since he began breeding in 2005. He brings a tremendous amount to the table by imparting fleece structure and fineness with a lack of medulation on large frames with flawless conformation. Isidoro has made his own mark with his 17 Championships in the ultra-competitive Light division. The latest of his banners was just awarded at the 2017 MAPCA Jubilee Fleece competition, where he won Light Color Championship, Judges Choice, and The Spirit of the Industry Award!!!! This was preceded by a similar showing at the 2016 PAOBA Breeder's Showcase where he won 1st and Color Champion in the fleece show with a score of 90.0. His individual scores 18.5 of 20 for fineness, combined with 20 of 20 for annualized weight (7.2 pound skirted blanket) may actually be unprecedented. In addition to all this, at the age of 44 months, Isidoro was awarded the Spirit of the Industry Award for his outstanding fleece qualities for his age class!!!! Now THAT is “fineness relative to density”. This was a repeat performance from the 2016 MAPACA Fleece show where he collected the same awards, PLUS the Color Championship at halter at 42 Months!!!! Isidoro's fleece was also awarded the Color Championship and Judge's Choice Award at the 2016 AOA National and International Fleece Show. Just in; KCF Isidoro wins Spirit of the Industry Award at the 2019 PAOBA FleeceShowcase at the age of almost 7. This is Isidoro’s sixth such fleece award and I’m not sure he’s done yet.... We are so proud of this male and are looking so forward to his numerous offspring!

CONGRATULATION'S GO TO DAISY MAE FOR HER SECOND PLACE RIBBON FROM THE CAROLINA ALPACA CELEBRATION FLEECE SHOW AS A 4 YEAR OLD! Award winning, Tall Grass Daisy Mae has perfect conformation and a smooth gait. Her fleece has good density, fineness and a high frequency crimp that all breeders hope for and she's cute to boot! What a personality on this little girl, she is one of our favorites. Daisy's sire is AG Space Cowboy, his fiber is second to none, having amazing density, crimp, complete uniformity carrying the character from head to tail and from the skin on up. It has brilliant brightness, a soft handle, and low micron with a crimp formation that is outstanding! In the words of the show ring judges, “…he’s perfectly proportioned with substantial, strong bone. An amazing alpaca!” His pedigree includes Hemingway, Bueno, Snowmass Royal Rose, Altiplano Gold and Don Julio. Daisy's dam is North East Peruvian Georgeann. She is full Peruvian with strong Accoyo bloodlines from Felix, Royal Fawn, and Chaparral and Alianza lines from Hemingway, Bueno, Brista and Benatton. The combination of these genetics are amazing with all the great names you want to see. Keep an eye on this one, she might be the one your looking for, for your next purchase! The Service Sire that we chose for Daisy is Kendall Creek's Isidoro. Isidoro has made his own mark with 11 Championships in the ultra-competitive Light division. The latest of his banners was just awarded at the 2016 MAPACA Jubilee, where he won first place and Color Champion at halter and 1st and Color Champion in the fleece show with a score of 89.5. His individual scores 19 of 20 for fineness, combined with 20 of 20 for annualized weight (7.2 pound skirted blanket) may actually be unprecedented. In addition to all this, at the age of 44 months, Isidoro was awarded the Spirit of the Industry Award for his outstanding fleece qualities for his age class!!!! Now THAT is “fineness relative to density”. Isidoro has it all, a large yet proportioned frame, super soft and consistent fleece with tremendous bundling & brightness and that buttery feel; staple length like you rarely ever find, and a host of genetics that indicate that he will be able to pass on these characteristics to his progeny. His lovely phenotype, conformation and head style have earned him his "Champion" status and combined with Daisy's perfect conformation, beautiful fleece characteristics and lovely phenotype should produce a spectacular cria!
