Nena is maintaining her fineness but lacks density and crimp. She is a good option for an inexpensive way to get started raising alpacas. When bred to our herdsire Vinny, she produced a very nice male (Shylow) who has shown well. Please see his listing. We could include a breeding to Vinny for this price. Nena was our first female alpaca and her first great grandson was just born on our farm in October 2011!

Description

Shylow was the result of breeding our own Nena with our herdsire Vinnie, we were very pleased with the outcome. He showed in the highly competitive fawn class and did quite well. We would love to keep him around but we have enough breeding males for our small foundation herd. He has nice, crimpy fleece has a nice disposition.
